SIANG SIANG RESTAURANT 2 — Restaurant in Borneo

Need a whole lot of improvements.

Delay I went to this restaurant with my family for dinner. There're 4 of us, so we ordered 4 meals (one for each). The foods took a very long time to arrive and arrived in sequence. The second meal arrived AFTER the first meal was already finished. It was the same case for third and fourth meals as well. We were starving waiting for the foods.

Attitude After we placed our orders, the waitress went to out table TWICE to inform they were out of stock for certain meals on the menu. So, to save time and trouble to keep re-ordering, I asked the waitress which of the foods are available. After she tended to my questions, she walked away and slammed the menu on drinks counter. I'm not sure why she was angry that we asked what was available and was not. I managed to tolerate their delay and so I expect better attitude from...

I went to this place because the photos online looked so nice, but the reality was a nightmare. The service was unbelievably terrible. We asked three different staff to clear the table, not even one bothered to come. They could walk right past us while we were calling them, and just act like we were invisible.

When we wanted to order egg tarts and UFO, the staff didn’t even bother to check. Straight away said “don’t have” and even added “if want also need to wait very long, food also will be slow.” Excuse me, isn’t this supposed to be a restaurant? Everything here is painfully slow, clearing tables slow, drinks slow, food slow, plus the staff’s attitude was colder than ice.

I was quite disappointed with the Steamed Chicken. The meat lacked flavor and had an unpleasant smell, which made it difficult to enjoy. The chicken pieces were poorly presented they looked shredded and disjointed, making it unclear which part of the chicken was being served.

To make things worse, the food was served on a chipped plate, which raised hygiene concerns and made the dining experience feel even more careless.

In terms of pricing, the meal did not justify the cost. For the portion size and quality received, it felt overpriced.

As for the environment, it was average. The dining area was relatively clean but lacked any warmth or inviting atmosphere.
