Seladah Stay — Hotel in Borneo

The house itself is very nice, although a little in need of some TLC, and in a great location easy walking distance to good eateries, the access to kitchen, washer, dryer and purified tap water and a/c are well appreciated. Access is all "smart" and easy and the landlord mans his phone well. I stayed in the family room which was really not very comfortable for me. The bed was very old and the first place i tried I sunk into a hole and the wires stuck into me...if you have back problems I do not recommend these beds you will likely wake up with a backache as I did. The bathroom was a bit smelly and really needed a deep clean and some fixes and maintenance...the shower drain was regurgitating gross stuff sometimes and the knob to adjust water temperature was broken. My first 2 showers were pretty cold. Maybe the house had run out of hot water from other guests as shower 3 was less feeling like you had to jump into a pool and easier to wash off the grease from the day. It seems there are 8 rooms being rented. My first night was very noisy as a family was holding a loud religious service in the common living room which was really disturbing the peace and quiet and made me uncomfortable. With a share house it is obviously the luck of the draw as to who else is in the house. Overall it is ok for a short stay especially if you are not too sensitive or fussy...perhaps other rooms are more comfortable and in better repair. I don't know if it was dust or mould but I was sneezing a bit in this room. In the common area some lights were not working so it was a bit dark...for example I needed to use my phone as a torch to use the washer.

My favourite aspect of this house was watching the fish at the fish pond in the centre and the easy walking to many good food options and a supermarket. Grabs were easy to get to and from this...

Im choosing bedroom attached with toilet. Very convenient and affordable. Place is safe and clean. Got parking space. Kitchen + fridge + washing machine + iron + tv with Netflix is available in this stay. Near to shops...

I like to stay at this homestay, clean, owner also good person & handsome🥰🥰...i hopefully the business stay grow up and hopefully other customers can try book at seladah homestay for vacation, holiday, also...
