Pine Garden Hotel Kuching — Hotel in Borneo

The facade, compound and lobby of the hotel leaves much to be desired and are not exactly pleasing to the eye but the rooms are alright. Located at a main junction or rather a roundabout, it is near the airport, a small mall - City One and many eateries - 101 Kuching although in Kuching, it’s better to drive than walk notwithstanding that certain places are by usual standards, ‘walking distance’. The carpark is split between covered and open air so covered is clearly the choice since it’s in front of the hotel lobby and within the view of the lone security guard sitting at the entrance of the lobby. Never mind the gravel floor of the open air carpark and dim lighting. The hotel lobby is small and simple, and the staff are friendly but only a few speak English. Check in and out is relatively quick although you have to wait for the staff to check your room when you checkout. Carpark is free and you need the room access card to use the lift. The room is tight but sufficiently sized for either 2 pax or 3 (if you don’t mind the squeeze plus additional charge applies for 3 pax), and clean with basic toiletries provided. The safe doesn’t seem to work for both the rooms I booked. TV channels are grossly limited. But overall it’s still a decent, value-for-money hotel to spend a few nights if you don’t mind the lack...

2night at this hotel 1st seen very good so continue an others night 2nd day I not request for makeup room 3.3rd day this hotel start give bad service I request for makeup room. They just top up shampoo, towel and minaral water, bed sheets all dint change, washroom dint clean, tea cup just put a side. I thought maybe that forgot never mind. 4rd day back to room... Same thing happen just top up,today more worse the bed sheet no makeup cup of tea for the day until now put a side washroom from day 1 until now no wash. Too bad 5.When I call to counter the operator toldIng me that is normal and she will told housekeeping about this matter, I try to ask so now what you can do it for me? She said nothing can do... I have mention this matter and comment on website she answered me "yes just do it" in So so so disappointed how can you answer like that to your customers?

Seriously 1day I have good image n good comment for my friends and familys.We plan to visit Sarawak soon on "Kuching food festival" coming this end July but so lucky we dint booking yet. 1st time I am heard staying Hotel telling me makeup room is just top up those things.. So so disappointed so...

A "Haunted House" I could said. I stay at 4th Floor "8405".Things happen When I back to the hotel at 9pm something. After I step in the room, the kettle is already switch on and I try to convince myself maybe I switch on before I leave the room just now (but I am not even use the kettle during the stay). After 5 minutes I down to the car to take my file and went up to my room again, I saw the cabinet is shaking and it looks like something inside otherwise how could a cabinet shaking itself. At that time I know there is nothing to convince myself already so I went down to reception and request to change my room. The lady asked me why I need to change the room so I told her what I experienced and her face look like its quite normal because I am not the only one to complaint about that. During the conversation with her, she told me actually a lot of guests experience the same things at the room of 8401 and she told me even housekeeper not dare to go 4th floor alone at night but they accommodate their guest on 4th floor.
