I absolutely adore checking into a new random property and for this time, I regretted that decision. ||||Upon booking at the property in Booking.com they would send you a message in Booking.com to explain the check-in procedures. ||||To reach the property, you need to go to the South tower where the lift lobby is. The receptionist is a small table and a photocopier machine. Upon arriving to the property, park in front of the lift lobby, drag a guard and tell him you are checking in to the hotel. There is no door bell, so don't bother looking for it. ||||Upon checking in, you will need to pay a security deposit of RM200. This is by far the highest security deposit I have ever encountered in all my hotel stays. ||||Then once you are checked in, go around the building and look for the parking that goes up. Tap the access card, and feel free to park in any box that you wish (or half in the box) parking is aplenty. ||||You will need to tap your card to get to the lift lobby. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure out which card is for what. ||||Upon check-in, you will find yourself facilities akin of your own home. You will have a kitchen, a bedroom, a huge fridge and best of all, a washing machine. Just so you know, I stayed in the studio unit, so I won't know how different is my room category compared with the other. ||||Was on the high floor and it overlooked the northern part of Johor Bahru. The night sky is fantastic. ||||The floor is dusty, probably due to it being spanking brand new, and also the renovation of other units. As seen also on 2 of their lifts, of which, 2 are on permanent park position during my stay period of 2 nights. ||||Shower pressure is fantastic, and the heating is good. ||||However, I find my one of my towels are a bit worn, and the other one is quite new.||||Shower amenities include shower gel, bars of soap, and conditioning shampoo. Due to its pathetic packaging, I bought my own set of amenities. ||||Toothbrush and the other grooming amenities are not provided. Not quite as published on Booking.com. ||||The washing machine is a plus since there is no daily room make up I could use them to sanitize my towels. ||||The kitchen also comes with a gas hob, a microwave oven and also an electric kettle. Though they had forgotten to include cups and utensils but it's okay, they don't provide coffee or tea either. No gas was provided alongside with the gas hob. It looks like we could just look at that thing in the kitchen and not do anything with it. ||||||As it is a condo/service apartment, there is no room service nor would you be able to call to front desk. The Internet is relatively fast, having the wireless device in the unit does help a lot. The TV also comes with a media player of sorts, we did not try the player. The TV also comes with HDMI input, so you can cast from your own device or a laptop. ||||The bed is rather small and there is no bedside table on one side of the bed, making charging phones rather inconvenient. ||||The microwave oven was brand new that it still comes with it's packing materials. However, I find that I could not operate both the microwave and the washing machine simultaneously as it would trip the power. Interesting enough that when the power card is pulled out, everything else is powered down except the fridge and the TV; this includes the doorbell (No wonder housekeeping never came in the room to replenish the bottled water or change the towels, they can't ring the door)||||Developed some skin rash after a few days. I really love this place, but going through the skin rash and itch is just not worth it. ||||If swimming in the washing machine is what fancies you, you can feel free to join in with the rest at level 9 of the building, where the pool is. Beware though, as the lobby do get...

My family booked 5 suites for two nights for 11 adults, 3 children and 3 infants. Overall it was a good experience for the price that we paid which was RM179 per night per suite. We stayed here for an engagement ceremony for a family member.

Here is what we liked about the place

  1. Price is cheap considering the place is well kept and had nice decoration and is very spacious.

  2. It is in the center of JB so buying food was easy and a shopping mall is 10 minutes drive away.

  3. The suite is beautifully decorated and the view from our room is nice.

  4. Parking is easy. Every suite receives a parking card with an allocated space. We had an extra car and parking for extra car is available for RM1 per hour or free of charge if your park further at the shopping lots behind the suite area.

  5. The suite is very spacious so although we had 5 suites and there were many of us, all of us can gather in one suite to eat and spend time together.

What we don't really like about this place :

  1. It is not the most child friendly suite. The windows can be opened and is big enough for a child to climb out of with a coffee table placed near that can be moved to the window which is conveniently the perfect height for a child to climb on top of it and have access to the window latch. We had an autistic child with us and he has a tendency to climb on tables and open things. Thankfully nothing happened but the mother of the child did literally had a nightmare of the worst case scenario happening. So always keep an eye on your children. And another toddler of ours was playing with the sliding door at the bedroom area and accidentally locked herself. Thankfully the bedroom is accessible from the double doored bathroom. Conclusion is, the design of the room is not child friendly.

Management could use some improvement. a) Check in was not very smooth. The person in charge failed to inform us with all the necessary details like using you parking card to access the elevator instead of the room card. There were also no luggage trolley which can be expected as this is not a hotel but more tk a serviced apartment. But what we didn't like was how they kept on telling us to remove our car eventhough 90% of the parking space was empty in front of the lobby area and the fact that we had a lot of stuff to carry and needed to take several trips to our room. b) Another unpleasant experience was also with the management, there is only one couch in the lobby and my mother is old and cannot stand for long (the check-in process was long as I mentioned earlier). The one and only couch was occupied by two staffs with headphones in their ears and eyes on their phones. My mother had to ask three times for her to sit while she waited before the staff to take the earphones out and gave her his seat. c) Room service came but was unresponsive. The room service knocked on our door and when I looked through the blurry peephole I was confused whether it was my brother or some random guy. I am a muslim so I need to wear my headscarf if it isn't my brother. So I asked who is it about five times (in malay) and the person was unresponsive. The guy mentioned something in english and I guess he didn't understand malay so I asked is this room service? To which the guy responded by leaving. I only confirmed that it was indeed the room service guy when he went to the other suites we rented. Not fully his fault but a simple statement saying "room service" would make things a lot better. d) There was only one room card. It would be nicer if there was two room carfs as most hotels usually give.

So that was our experience. I recommend this place to families (with small children just be extra watchful) and I advice to not put high expectations on the staff. You get what...

Stayed here for 2 nights, approximately 15-20 mins drive from Woodlands checkpoint. From external interior building it looks like some office building, newly open residence, no crowd, no shops/eateries around that area. You may have to travel out a bit for supermarket & eating places. However nearby about 10-15mins drive to Tebrau mall & Pandan City. I wouldn't know this building is an apartment until we arrived here. Place is well taken care by securities always on standby at the entrance, lobby. Feel safe most of the time even though location is quite quiet & secluded. ||||Lobby reception look so basic with "office" table for checking in/out, efficient check in/out too. Do take note they don't accept foreign credit/debit card for apartment deposit, they preferred cash payment upon checking in. We had our apartment on 22nd floor. Amazing view from the top, we were surprised how lovely the apartment is. Great layout of the room, open concept which come with kitchen, dining table, living room, 1 bathroom and a huge bedroom. Apartment is well equipped with air-con & 3 ceiling fans. Kitchen comes with kitchen amenities, utensils, microwave, huge fridge excluding cooking pots & pans, dishwasher soap. Rubbish chute is outside near to the lift landing.||||Do bring along your toothbrush as they don't provide in the room. Room comes with hairdryer, safe box, iron board but exclude tv in the bedroom. They do have housekeeping which will come everyday to replace your dirty towels & 2 complimentary bottles. Apartment is well kept clean & tidy except for our toilet bowl in the room perhaps wasn't fix properly onto the floor as it wobbles whenever we seat on it. Lol, maintenance is much needed!||||They do have infinity pool located on 9th floor with Jacuzzi and comes with outdoor playground for kids. Overall, nice staycay in the newly apartment. Highly recommended to all to try this apartment.. We will return again...

Short two night staycay here with 3 other friends. Room wasn't as clean as we'd hope. Basin had left over noodle chunks which was honestly gross, so we didn't bother using the kitchen at all. Dark visible stains on the couch, and bed sheets. Aircon and fan was a blessing after a long hot day out, and the view at night is pretty fantastic. There's an infinity pool open for guest usage, but do make sure to bring swimwear as the guards there are pretty strict. Unfortunately the sauna was closed early so we didn't get to try that during our stay. Place is convenient since it's near to majority of the places we marked to visit; mount austin, ksl, custom. There's a convenience store downstairs that's pretty well stocked with the basic necessities, but it's not available 24 hours. There's also a few petrol kiosks further down with cheers etc that's around 10-15 minutes walk away. Overall definitely a good place for short stop, now if only the cleanliness and maintenance could improve then it would be great.

Good location with close proximity to Singapore and KSL mall. This is a modern accommodation, very clean and new. Just note they only provide shower gel and shampoo, and 1 hand towel. No other toiletries, no towels, no tissue, no hairdryer too. They do a room inspection when you checkout, and keep you waiting at least 15 mins.
