Really good discovery of a local restaurant that does dishes really well. The food is reasonably priced for the quality you get and the staff are patient and friendly. We went at lunch time so it wasn't very crowded but I would imagine it gets crowded on weekends and at nights. We had their signature salt baked chicken which was really good. The table next to us ordered the fried version which looked pretty good too so might try it the next time. The sharks fin soup was a generous portion with lots of ingredients and also very tasty. The crispy beehoon with gravy was unique and interesting with the savoury eggy gravy complimenting the crispy fried rice noodles super well. The signature four seasons beans with shredded vegetables was also very savory and well made. The stars of the show were the 2 crabs we ordered. One was salted egg flavour which was nice because they used real salted eggs instead of commercial powdered type salted eggs and the steam crabs with egg white was also delightful. I personally preferred the steamed crab because the crab was fresh and the meat was firm and the simple cooking method could allow the sweetness of the crab meat to come through.

We went again on 19/8/25 Food was good as usual so overall rating maintain at 8.7/10 but the lady owner was rude and grumpy and snapped at us Tried a new dish : salted fish and pork belly with chill.. yummy with rice Overall rating reduce to 7.5/10 Paid RM46.50 which is considered higher this time They have some expensive dishes costing about 40-60RM per dish If the good is decent show respect to your patrons Otherwise u get a BAD RATING so please wake up and read this especially the son who manages the cashier..

Nice place beside 星河。 this is a classic restaurant and interestingly it doesn’t reek of the typical old school restaurant ’smell’. We ordered the crab beehoon, just 1 crab but I think it’s abt 650-750g so it’s pretty ok. Meat was fresh and succulent so no complaints. Only thing is the sauce/gravy was thick enough. Bee Hoon portion for the small is good for two and tasty. The vegetables was nice. See picture but it gets oily towards the end as it’s deep fried. Mutton claypot was great and the meats were delicious and not over done. Sauce is a tad salty but it’s ok since there’s bee Hoon to complement it. Didn’t order the salt bake chicken but I will do so the next round as it’s pretty much a must order dish but we had the crab cravings.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at this Restaurant with my family of 8 pax and I must say that my visit was an utter disappointment. Not only were all the dishes excessively salty, but the staff's unfriendly and dismissive attitude made the situation even more disheartening.

Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed a lack of warmth and hospitality from the staff. Nevertheless, I decided to proceed with my order, specifically requesting a minimal amount of salt due to dietary preferences. Unfortunately, my simple request seemed to go unnoticed or ignored.

When my food arrived, it became evident that no action had been taken regarding my request. The dishes were incredibly salty, rendering them almost inedible. Disappointed and frustrated, I approached the staff member, the male waiter wearing spectacles, who had taken my order. I calmly expressed my dissatisfaction with the excessively salty food, expecting a courteous response and some attempt to rectify the situation.

To my surprise, the staff member showed no concern or empathy. Instead of offering an apology or a solution, they simply brushed off my complaint, claiming to have already informed the kitchen. Without any further engagement or attempt to resolve the issue, the staff member abruptly walked away, leaving me feeling ignored and disregarded as a customer.

Aside from the disappointing service, the over-salted dishes were a significant letdown. Each bite was an assault on the taste buds, overpowering any other flavors that might have been present. It was clear that the kitchen had neglected to address any concerns or take appropriate measures to ensure a balanced and enjoyable dining experience.

In light of this experience, I cannot recommend this Restaurant to anyone seeking a pleasant and satisfying meal. The combination of inattentive and unfriendly staff, coupled with poorly executed dishes, left me deeply disappointed. I hope that the management takes note of these shortcomings especially the one wearing spectacles male waiter who told my orders and who I complained to him about the saltiness of all the dishes. He has a very...

I recently had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. From the excessively salty food to the unprofessional attitude of the staff, it was a disappointment on multiple levels.

Let's start with the food. All the dishes served at this establishment were overwhelmingly salty, to the point that it became difficult to enjoy the flavors. It seemed as though no consideration was given to the balance of taste, leaving me thirsty and dissatisfied. It's truly unfortunate when a restaurant fails to execute such a basic aspect of culinary expertise.

Moreover, the lackluster attitude displayed by the staff further exacerbated the overall disappointment. From the moment I entered, I was met with a cold and unwelcoming reception. The waitstaff seemed uninterested and apathetic, making me feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. The absence of attentiveness affected the overall dining experience and left a lasting negative impression.

In addition to the food and staff, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was unremarkable. The ambiance lacked charm and sophistication, adding to the lackluster experience. Although one might be willing to overlook this aspect if the food and service were exceptional, the combined effect proved to be a letdown.

It is my hope that the management of this restaurant takes the necessary steps to rectify these issues. Attention to detail in both the culinary offerings and the training of staff is crucial for a restaurant to succeed. In its current state, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an enjoyable dining experience.

In conclusion, my visit to this restaurant was marred by excessively salty food, an unprofessional attitude from the staff, and an underwhelming atmosphere. I strongly recommend exploring other dining options in the area that better prioritize their guests'...
