I have known Keen Kitchen since 2018/2019 when they started at Larkin/ Kebun Teh area operating by a truck. After covid 19, they moved to Kg Melayu for a while, and just re-opened at a new place in Kebun Teh, recently! I can confidently vouch that their asam pedas claypot & masak lemak cili api claypot is one of the best in this whole JB! They cook upon order so sometimes it’ll be served a bit late especially when they were many customers waiting. Whenever I’m thinking of eating asam pedas or lemak cili api, I’ll think about Keen Kitchen! The new place at Kebun Teh located nearby the Kebun Teh Chinese School just beside an oyo hotel (in front of the long car shops). So, parking probably somewhat an issue especially during peak hours. The assam pedas taste was not up to expectation. Wasn't wild about it so if you’re looking for assam pedas then i would not recommend it. But they might improve the recipe in the future.
