We checked in on the 23rd Nov and when we entered the apartment, there is some kind of funny smell in the apartment. The bidet in the main washroom (in master bedroom) is not working and there are some water leaking on the ceiling. The TV cable also doesn't work and we had to call a technician to fix the issue. Overall, the unit seems not well maintained.
On the security issue : during check in, we have explained to the front office that we will be collecting another car (our own car) later in the evening and that time we drove our friend's car. So the front office informed us to let the security know upon entering the premise with the second car. Later that evening, we did what we have been told but the security in charge just inform us to enter without filling any forms etc and park at the visitor parking lot.
The next day, we saw that our car has been clamped and we proceeded to the management office where the management office informed us to talk to the security staff / supervisor. We explained the situation but seems like the supervisor is not eager to believe us and insists on us watching the CCTV, while keep on saying this is the 'SOP' which we think it is not relevant to us. SOP only applies on the process and the guidelines for the team / staffs, not on customers or guests. We just came to enjoy the hotel service and we paid for it. However, we do not have any choice to just follow the advise and we proceeded to the security control room and watched the CCTV for almost 1 and half hour. We have plans for the day but due to this issue, we have to postpone everything.
We did ask, what is the purpose of watching the CCTV? If they saw us entering the premise, what is their next action as they will not be seeing much of the details (as we parked at the side when talking to the security in charge that evening). But the answer we get is ambiguous. After more than an hour of viewing the CCTV, at last we saw our recording and then they just dismissed everything. Not sure what is the purpose of viewing the CCTV which wasted our time and plus our daughter is already very hungry at that time. After all the hassle, finally we managed to get the security to unclamp our car.
Everything is not as expected for this stay and it is disappointing. We stayed there previously, in August 2017 and we like the apartment and its condition, that is why we returned for a stay again. Definitely will not be coming back due to this...

Was confused wjth the terms that i need to transfer deposit over when website alr shows my payment was deducted. ||Tried to enquire more about it from the customer service line but no respond for hours, my stay was tomorrow so i got very anxious and called the property but got hang up. Message another number they gave on website but was redicrected to the same number that did not respond.||At this point, not knowing if this is a scam or not, and my stay was on the next day. Usually we wjll only make the deposit when we arrive the place. The customer service in charge did not bother to explain or reply ro my queries so i requested to cancel and book a hotel instead. The property then replied saying they wouldnt refund me for 'last minute cancellation'. Was asked to contact book.com for the change of dates too but the reply was directly from the property saying that i couldnt do any last minute changes.......||The customer service in charge that whatsapp me ealier DELETED THE MSG after. Wrote to the property about that bad service, no respond from them and was still charged with the full amount.||This is my first and definitely going to be the last time.||Wouldn't recommend this homestay to anyone...
