Ume Floral Halal Cafe - HALAL CERTIFIED CAFE — Restaurant in Johor

If there is a restaurant rating for the romantic category, this place deserves to be in the top 10. The walls are deliberately decorated with flower arrangements, igniting the sparks of romantic mode when entering the outlet. This is subtly elaborated with a perfect level of dimmed illumination from a few chandeliers nicely arranged dangling high above the restaurant. The feeling of being in a garden full of flowers is again exalted by the table design that resembles a cut of a tree stump. Any love birds would certainly melt and be carried  away with the ambience and this restaurant is a must go for them if they are looking for a memorable restaurant for the occasion.

Menu prices are average for a mid-range class restaurant with quite a selection featuring Western and Asian cuisine. The  serving portion is also good and presented articulately well by the chef. The waiter, Asri, who served us, exhibited a high quality of service throughout  the visit.

With all that the restaurant offers from the amazing ambience, settings, extensive menu, good quality food and also excellent service, they have the potential to rival even a high end dining establishment provided some future improvements and a bigger vision is being planned and...

The place was nicely decorated with artificial flowers but most of the waitresses at the time we came were Pinoys so they did not understand Bahasa Melayu very well. Need to communicate in English.

We ordered the Nasi Goreng Kampung which was priced at RM17++ as well as the Ayam Lemak Cili Api Rice which was priced at RM19++, warm water, Lemongrass Drink and Salted Caramel Cake. Our total dinner was RM70++

The armosphere was great, service staff was friendly and attentive. Ordering will bw a breeze if you are tech savvy as they are using the QR code ordering system.

Food wise, the plating was nice and portion looked generous. The taste was quite delicious too. The ulams and salads used were fresh and crunchy but the belachan or chilli used in our Nasi Goreng Kampung was not prepared well that one of us had an upset tummy after eating. Hope can do something to about your chilli or belachan so that it can be consumed by everyone in the family.

Stumbled upon this cafe while browsing to look for some place to celebrate my daughter’s birthday (we are not from Johor). Took us by suprise because the cafe is so fancy - ambient was upscale like a fine dining restaurant, service by staffs were very quick, witty & attentive (as we had a small baby with us - they even offered a baby bassinet!) food was also extremely delicious — lamb shoulder, alaskan fish & chips and their carbonara (must try!) were sooo good! The mocktails mango madness, raspberry fizz & milkshake was superb!

Also at this cafe you can add on any celebration decos for any occasion — we choose a simple cake board for our daughter, when received it they even gave our daughter a free birthday gift Which was very thoughtful!
