Mornings Hotel — Hotel in Kedah

Most reviews in agoda saying it was clean so I didn’t expect it to be in such condition.. Lot of hairs and dust on the floor, hairs on the pillow and bed, the floor is sticky and floor in toilet is super slippery.. but the service is good that when I complained and asked them to reclean, they clean the room and change new bedsheet for us.

The blankets are super thin, bedsheets & pillow case are old and yellowish, but I understand since it is budget hotel. However the bed must be really dirty that we got few bites by the dust mite on the leg, super itchy, my god.

I booked 5 rooms for 2 nights, and some rooms doors are opened and doormats hanging there while we checking-in, I’m like: seriously???????

Only good part is the price (around RM68-75), but actually other 2 star hotels has similar price too, i choose this only because of the good reviews in agoda, which made us really disappointed. Totally not recommended

Side note: On the checkout day, I request for late check-out for only ONE room for 2 hours due to special reason (I booked 5 rooms for 2 nights) but they said need to pay RM50. Hey.. just one room also cannot tolerate? I asked for extra 2 hours only, RM50 is almost price for 1 night already.. moreover I booked so many rooms for 2 nights from you, still no...

Stayed for 4D3N here in two rooms.

Felt itchiness in my legs and having sinus after stepping in the room. The mirror on the dressing table is broken. Spotted 1 cockroach running around at night in room A, informed the receptionist, and we were told to bear with it first as the housekeeping will only be done next day 10am. Spotted another cockroach in room A on 2nd night, was frustrated and luckily got to change to another room. Whereas in room B, there's total of 3 cockroaches spotted during our stay.

Obviously the hotel is unhygienic and housekeeping is not done well. The mattress and pillows are old and sunken, the rooms are not sound proof as we still can hear elevator sound at night.

On the bright side, the receptionist is friendly and helpful. There's water dispenser (both hot and cold water) and there's TV in the room.

Of course, this is a budget hotel, so i don't expect great service. However, hygiene is utmost important that i hope there will be improvement...

⭐ 1-Star Review – Worst Service, Irresponsible Staff

My stay at Morning Hotel was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I requested clean bedsheets, but a staff member named Sham gave ridiculous excuses, saying it wasn’t his job. Instead of helping, he completely dismissed the request. In the end, I had to change the dirty bedsheet myself, and they gave me a single-size bedsheet for a queen-size bed. Completely unprofessional.

On top of that, the Indian lady staff on morning duty just stood by and did nothing when an officer was issuing a ticket to a customer's vehicle in front of the hotel. No warning, no heads-up — just ignored the situation.

This place clearly lacks basic customer service. The staff are lazy, careless, and irresponsible. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Avoid Morning Hotel at all costs if you value good service and a...
