Chennai Curry House — Restaurant in Kedah

Horrible experience here. They had aircon area and we saw empty tables inside and ppl eating in there but they told us it’s close and we can’t enter. Claypot prawn biryani!!! For RM29!!! U get 4 pieces of the most pathetic sized prawn! Basically a daylight robbery!! Didn’t serve us curry and expected us to eat our biryani dry. When asked said will only provide if we ask for curry 🤦🏽‍♀️ Server so blurr ask for fish curry gravy only, but bring fish out together too! Then look at us cluelessly like we are the dumb ones 🤦🏽‍♀️ 5.ordered egg omelette. Until finish our food also didn’t arrive! And the audacity for the server to come and ask us if we got it knowing we didn’t get it!! Jesus!!!...

Today i understand why foreign workers get treated badly in this country. Even when you treat them kindly, talk respectfully, they dont return the same energy! The cashier is very rude and has bad communication skill. I started off with a kind tone and talked very respectfully, he couldn't care less. To the boss of this restaurant, please remember eventhough your food is somehow good, and you have repeating customers, but if you dont monitor your staff's, i think you wont go anywhere beyond. Ordered banana leaves with add on papadam and chicken 65. The rice came cold - not even warm as if they have been put aside for long, similarly to the side dishes. Papadam was soggy. Chicken 65 is hard (not crispy on the outside). Whereas Nasi briyani (chicken) is as what reflected in the photo. Not appealing and this is not how Britain should look like.
