Donkey and I decided to escape the city for a relaxing getaway at Grand Lexis Port Dickson. It was the perfect choice for a peaceful retreat, even though there isn't a beach directly in front of the resort.
Upon arriving, we were immediately drawn to the clean and cozy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, especially Yasirah at the Port Dickson check-in reception. She recommended we switch to a Level 1 resort for more privacy, and we were so glad we took her advice! The Level 1 resorts offer a private indoor pool right within our premises, just beside the bedroom, which was perfect for a relaxing dip.
Our resort was spacious and luxurious, with two king-size beds, a private bathroom, and a huge indoor pool. We loved that the pool was indoor, and the living room was incredibly spacious as well! It felt like our own little oasis.
We enjoyed walking along the grounds of our resort to watch the sunset and woke up early the next morning to catch the sunrise, while there isn't a ton to do within the resort. The bellboy suggested taking the elevator to a higher floor to have a clear view of the sunrise. It was such a kind gesture, and it really made a difference.
Most of our time was spent enjoying the view around the resort and taking advantage of the facilities within our room. While there aren't many restaurants in the immediate area, we found the food at the resort to be acceptable. The breakfast place at Level 1 had a good range of variety, and we opted for the Japanese restaurant at Level 2 for dinner, and we're glad we made that choice.
Even during checkout, the staff went above and beyond, sending us to the reception counter by buggy and then even offering to help us carry our luggage to our car. That exceptional service really made a lasting impression.
Our only suggestions are to pay a little more attention to cleanliness in the bathrooms and on the floors. We noticed some stains in the bathroom, which could be easily addressed with a little extra care. I felt that the floor was a bit sandy, which could be improved with more frequent cleaning.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Grand Lexis Port Dickson. The staff was friendly, the accommodations were luxurious and comfortable, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. We highly recommend this resort for anyone seeking a quiet getaway by the sea.

The security manager (mr.navin) came and ask the other car driver to make police report and claim insurance under my car without investigating. What a stupid decision made by him. I was standing there and he didt even tell me anything and being very racist by assinting the other car owner. Then he told me that he will update and i waited for 2 days to get update, none of them update me. On 11/11 i called to check on the update the duty manager (ms.chandra) told me she was not aware of the incident and unable to do much from their end. I asked him what hotel was doing meantime asked me to wait he said oh you never write any incident report so i didt do anything.
