G-luxe by Gloria Hotel — Hotel in Pahang

The hotel itself is quite a distance from First World. We checked in at around 4pm and only get to know that there is shuttle services provided only every hour to first world. We manage to take the shuttle to first world at 5pm and wanted to book for the last return at 12:15am. Firstly, we couldn't manage to book due to the 'My Tourism' app failure. So we called to the hotel to make manual booking. However, we were being informed that the shuttle services were fully booked for the last 2 slots and the only available time slot was 10:45pm. I'm here for a musical that starts from 8:30pm to 11pm and now I'm stucked. The only options given by the hotel staff was grab or taxi which I need to fork out extra money for it. If the hotel is not able to cater enough shuttle for their customers, they should have inform us earlier, I could have drive my own car. I'm totally upset and disappointed with this kind of services provided by a 5-star hotel, can't you just have more slots since you already know there will be so many people require the shuttle on...

Booked a room at Gloria residence and was lucky enough to be the lucky winner for a free upgrade at their new outlet. Spacious room. Clean. Room had a balcony with a magnificent view towards the jungle. Breakfast was very nice. Wide variety of western and Asian option. Their bread pudding was to die for. Beds were extremely comfortable and they even provided small box drinks in the refrigerator for us. The staffs were all very attentive and friendly. Please note that they offer a free shuttle service to genting first world plaza and theme park but needs to be booked first either through their my tourism app where you scan their code or by calling the front desk. We stayed there for 1 night. It was a last minute arrangement for my partner birthday. They managed to provide the best deco in such short notice. Shout out to Alex (duty manager)for making it happen. ||||I am amazed by the room, its super clean.
