Le Lodge Mansion — Hotel in Pahang

Honestly, my cousins and I enjoy staying here. The verandah, jakuzi and the pool really lightened their mood. The room was for family room and big enough for 5 persons. You still can put a toto on the floor which can stand about 6 persons more. The make up room, shower, toilet and jakuzi was in the same room that you were staying. For entertainment, you got astro enjoy, wifi and the pool. The pool was near to the kitchen and entrance which on the first floor. The pool was clean and kinda private area. No worries if u think the neighbours next to the house can see you. But, for muslim, you still need to wear proper attire. Since, house was like shared house with a good design like hotel but still private area. Reminder that there's no roof for jakuzi and pool. For kitchen, there is nothing overthere. Just a plate and glass. Doesn't seem find anymore utensil. But no worries if you were thirsty, you can get free water from kitchen. Either hot or cold. There is like Cuckoo water. For parking lot, it only can park for 4 cars only. Cause, like I said before, the mansion actually came from 3 story house. You can call the owner directly if you need anything or can get help from people staying in the house. And for muslim ladies, if you wonder if there's any iron, yes they provide it too. Which located on the 2nd floor and kinda hidden. If you would like to get some food, in the morning you can get breakfast at malay street store near to the house. They sell nasi lemak, roti canai and some kuih. But, actually not so much halal food near to the house. You need to go to the town to eat. Anyway, it doesn't take to much time to go. About 8 to 10 mins only. One more thing, if you plan to bring old folks, I will not suggest for you to bring them cause the stairs kinda slippery. If u insist, better to follow them from back. Anyway, our 3 days 2 nights...

It was a big group of us & we booked 10 rooms. The place was fairly clean & we were pleased that the owner allowed us an earlier check-in at 1pm instead of 2pm. There are 3 levels. The first floor has a spacious open area which was very ventilated, a big dining table with ample chairs, an outdoor bar area with sink & water dispenser, another dining table, a big carpark area that can fit 4 cars, a medium sized pool at the side and 4 to 5 rooms. The 2nd & 3rd level have 5 rooms each if I'm not mistaken. There is another open dining area on the 2nd floor. Some rooms have outdoor tubs which could be to your liking. Rooms come with 1king or 2 - 3 beds, attached bathrooms, TV, aircon, Wi-Fi, electric kettle, table & chairs. Diff rooms have diff configuration so you might need to highlight your preference with the owner during selection or booking. There is a very helpful caretaker who was around at most times to attend to your requests. On the downside, the room I was in which was on the 3rd level had this loud consistent thumping sounds at night. Probably due to the aircon condenser or something. If you are a light sleeper this will definitely bother you. The ac unit in my room leaked but was immediately rectified the next day. The toilet water pressure on the upper floors were weak to medium but survivable. It was a pleasant stay nonetheless. Location wise it was about 30 mins from Kuantan Airport. Not certain about nearby food eateries or supermarkets as I didn't see any within...

This is a mixed emotion review. A last minute changes due to work schedule and I found this on google maps with great reviews. So, I thought, why not?

Check in was easy. Fast response from the management. Room was good, comfortable though amenities were lacking. I have my toiletries, I do understand not all homestay provides them but a basic hand wash should be at least available.

I would recommend the place if you are coming for vacation in a group as the place is very group friendly with their pool table, small sized pool.

However, I was bit unlucky due to another group who was noisy and loud. Management responded but later on the noise continued.

On top of that, at 1am, someone continuously knocked and bang on my door. Turns out, one of the noisy group guy got the room wrong.

Decided to check out at around 630am and the same noisy group came back, from their after party, blocking my car. Thank god managed to get them to move the car.

So, if it’s a group outing, the space is recommended but if you’re on a business trip, looking to rest after a long day, it really depends on the rest of the house occupancy...
