A short walk from main road with restaurants, even the odd trendy cafe, mixed in with Street food market on Saturday nights, & very cheap Indian food. ||The locals around here are the loveliest people I've met in 4 months travelling! Eager to help us with everything, from translating to changing our large bank notes into smaller bills..I was ashamed of my naturally suspicious nature once I realised the locals were actually trying to help us, not sell to us!! A guy we'd never even met gave us a lift in his truck to the bus station, when we were totally lost & worried about missing our bus. He wouldn't even take money.||||Le Lodge Homestay is in the friendliest neighbourhood, and a 45 minute walk south, if you like walking, will take you to the famous beach, with many restaurants/cafes & a quiet coastline.||||Le Lodge has all the basic amenities- shower, hot water if you want it, wifi which works but not perfectly, but still does what it needs to do!- a TV, comfortable, clean beds, clean rooms, free loo roll, towels & soap, & cold fresh drinking water on tap.||||There's not really anybody at reception so TAKE NOTE! When you book the room, on either booking.com or bedandbreakfast.eu, be sure to guess your arrival time as accurately as possible- as the family tend to show up to let you in at the right time. We were 30 minutes early & nobody there until bang on 6pm (when we said we'd arrive). Very friendly, we paid up, & then they left again. ||||You have your own keys so let yourself in & out, just lock the door behind you. Nobody about if you need a hand with something i.e taxi, but the room is clean & fine. Met some local travelling students, just so darn...

When we reach the entrance is a little bit weird. Two lot of a terrace bungalow was joined to make a 11 rooms homestay. Registration was smooth as we had made our reservation through agoda via trivago. We got a last minute breaking deal paying a total of RM54 for a triple suite room(normal price RM189). Room was clean and of a good size. Wifi was very poor in our room(1st floor) connection was intermittent. We had to use our mobile data instead. No mini fridge in our room and the electrical socket was too far from the bed. Overall we were satisfied eventho there are a few drawbacks. We will come back to the same deal...

Suitable for family gathering plus a private pool with affordable price. It would be better if each room has an auto air refreshner and there should be a roof top to cover the porch so that people will not get wet when its raining cats and dogs. Other than...
