Read moreThis hotel has possibly the best façade of all the hotels in town, and the owners are currently renovating the rooms on the top floor. We were originally allocated a room on this floor, but the air-conditioning didn't run cold, and the TV didn't work, as well as being noisy with the construction. We were moved to the floor below, which resolved all these issues. ||||The hotel is average, but looking at the other hotels in Kuala Lipis, you are unlikely to find better. Read moreWe found to our surprise that this hotel has most of the features one would expect of a high class hotel. Our room was recently renovated and the hotel's renovation progamme is still ongoing. Fortunately, since it was a pub!ic holiday there was no construction work being carried out. Power points were plenty and well located, which come in useful when charging one's phones, laptops, etc.. In fact there were also two USB sockets for charging phones. Besides the TV, fridge, air-conditioning, ironing board, ceiling fan and hot shower, bedroom slippers and clothes hangers were sufficient. The air-conditioning is powerful enough and the temperature easily controlled. Bottled water and a boiling flask is provided. Location is superb with a fast food outlet and a convenient store within walking distance. The premises is clean, with wifi provided free though the signal strength could be stronger. An elevator serves all floors. Most of the historical sites are nearby as well as government departments and...
