Conveniently located on the main road, this budget hotel is also surrounded by eateries. You only need to walk around the block to see which place suits your taste. The hotel has four levels, however, the basement level does not have a lift. You may ask the front desk for assistance in carrying any heavy bags for you. Since it's a shoplot hotel, most of the rooms do not have windows. We were lucky to get our rooms facing the main road as we booked a month in advance.

The hotel is indeed clean, and we found all the amenities adequate. There is an ironing board on each floor for guest usage or you can inquire at the front desk for your own personal use. You can also ask for hair dryer from the front desk.

Yes, they ask for a RM50 refundable deposit upon checkout. The only negative if that they only give you one key card per room. If you ask, you can have an extra key to put in the card slot, but the card cannot open the door. So two people cannot go out and come back separately. Bad service. I booked and paid the room by walk-in at 2.00 p.m. I was informed the room will be ready at 3 p.m. I agreed since the check-in time is a standard.

Then I went for lunch, and arrived at 3.30 p.m. i was told by the reception that the room was not ready, and they asked for 30 minutes more.

I was pissed. I decided to cancel my reservation.

I travelled from far, and I need rest as I am not feeling well. I arrived 30 minutes late from agreed time, and they even have the audacity to asked for time extension.

When I confront, the receptionist tapping his finger at the table. I foresee it as a sign of holding an anger. For me, the attitude was really unacceptable.

We booked 2 rooms: arrived around 4:45pm but amazingly one room is not ready, we have to wait for more than half an hour for it. We also end up separated with 1 room at 2nd floor & 1 room at 3rd floor. The fridge in 1 room is not working properly (not cold enough). The ice cube in the other room is contaminated with what looked like a frozen mildew patch; apparently housekeeping never bothered to check the fridge for some time. The bathroom fan in one room is making an irritating humming sound. Only 2 packs of 3-in-1 coffee provided, so can scratch the "tea" part in the hotel description of facilities provided. Just 3 channels available on the TV. Wifi signal is weak & get disconnected frequently. Hot shower is not hot. Otherwise, our rooms are a-ok :-) I especially like the cctv...
