First the good: When spoken to, the hotel at least seemed to be trying to find a solution to something. It was also positive that I was allowed to change rooms twice at my own request (due to noise). That's the only reason there are two rating stars instead of one star. Now what needs to be improved: The most serious point I found was the dinner, which was usually served cold, which was really a big disappointment. It was completely unnecessary and inconsiderate to serve the guests the cold buffet. Some of the dishes were elaborately prepared and you actually wanted to look forward to them. But most of the food was cold even at the beginning of the buffet time, which I personally asked different employees (of different ranks) about on different days. Under no circumstances can the hotel claim that it was unaware of the problem. I don't just think that the food being left out cold is an outrage, I also see it as an attempt to persuade guests to pay extra for a meal a la menu. When I was complaining, I was offered the option of making a plate full and then having it warmed up in the kitchen; what I got myself into. The initially cold food was at least lukewarm; but never hot. It really spoiled my appetite, which is why at some point I only ate cold starters there and then went out to eat straight away. None of the employees spoken to there (more than six people over time) even made an attempt to get the buffet warm and keep it warm, even though I made it clear that this was a general problem, not just consisted of a single evening. Given the cold food, it is all the more astonishing that drinks are charged very high prices; for example, 7 euros for a 0.5 liter beer. I therefore definitely do not recommend that anyone interested in traveling book half board, but rather breakfast. But the breakfast was also very disappointing, as you can see in the pictures. The exact same, very limited selection was served consistently for over two weeks. 1 type of sausage, 1 type of cheese, butter. Some of the sausage was so rancid that I wouldn't even have given it to the street dogs to eat. I was forced to shop at the supermarket and bring a bag of my own things with me to the hotel breakfast so that I could at least eat normally and have a bit more variety. In the bathrooms (I saw three different ones) there is always mold-like discoloration somewhere in the tiles. Unfortunately, the rooms weren't always swept and cleaned well, so that on some days I had black feet from walking barefoot in my room. Overall, the stay at Aanari Hotel could be much nicer if the staff put more effort into providing hot food at the evening buffet, breakfast selection and room cleanliness.

Booking was made through MariDeal, I made a mistake while booking, as i am a smoker i needed a room with veranda. The hotel staff were very kind to shift us to another room with veranda. I took the all-inclusive package but it is to be noted that we only have access to items marked with an asterisk on the menu. The available items are good do not get me wrong but for some of the more premium items you will need to pay for it even if you are all-inclusive. Overall it was a good experience apart from a few hiccups here and there. Most of the staff were very friendly with the exception of one of two. The room was clean and cosy, you have AC in the room with access to remote. The tv only has a few channels available with nothing interesting for most of the time. The food was good, there was not a huge choice but a very decent amount of food of good quality. The swimming pool is nice but closed at night so you will have to enjoy during the day only. You have access to a small gym with bike, treadmill and some weights during the day. For the spa, jacuzzi and hammam you will have to pay an extra, it is also closed at night. I would recommend but maybe for get away weekends if you mostly want to relax, not for very big occasions.

My overall experience was very good. The hotel rooms were not only very comfortable, but very inviting. They had cozy feelings to them and had a very handy AC. The blankets felt like clouds except fluffier and softer. Each night felt like a paradise. Not to mention, the views were exquisite. It felt like I was in a dream, looking over the beautiful skies. The buffet was also very delicious. I felt very well fed after each night. The food was also very nutritious. And the desserts were mouth watering good. I couldn’t describe how much I wanted seconds. Everything about it was so put together and neat. Plus, the service was amazing. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I felt comfortable asking for anything. The weekly nights where there would be special events felt magical. For example, live dancing or live music. It felt like a whole new world I was living in. And, the lounge was so nice. There were a lot of spaces for me and others to rest which was very helpful. It felt like I could finally relax after a long trip. In addition, the pool was an amazing experience. It was shaped so nicely, perfect for a hot day to go swimming. I almost didn’t want to get out. What also helped was the gym. While having a glorious meal at the tables, I could burn off some calories at the gym. There were many variations that helped me achieve my goals. And on the lounge level there was a little pond where beautiful fish swam through. They looked so peaceful and pretty. It was very calming experience filled with very earthy plants. And when I looked to the side, I saw the beach, shining. Plus, getting a drink at the bar makes the day so much better. And if you venture further back into the bar garden, you’ll find a place where you can have a nice game night. Lots of chairs, and different things to do. Very appropriate and fun. We also visited the VIP dining room and the experience was amazing. It felt almost unreal, lights flowing up the mass of the room, and chairs so elegantly placed next to the white table cloths of the tables. And even the decorations around the hotel felt very magical. It was very pleasing and pretty. I’ve never had such a good experience in a hotel like Aanari. And the Internet was spectacular. Definitely an amazing choice for sleep aways and reunions. ||||| On the other side of the hotel comes the spa. My honest experience with the spa was great. Every hand movement felt like heaven. I felt so relaxed when it was finished, like I haven’t felt in years. For the whole week I was there, I felt so amazingly great. Sleeping was so much better after the spa too, it helped my muscles relax after sitting in an airplane for over 16+ hours.||||| So in conclusion, I think Aanari was a 5/5 experience. It was such an impact on my life because it was that good. The spa was spectacular, and the food was meeting my expectations just fine. Thank you Aanari for serving me well, I hope to come back and have more special interactions...

This is a quirky hotel with 50 bedrooms. The bedrooms are large and well equipped. I upgraded my room and had a lovely balcony over looking the beach. It's near to some nice restaurants and a large supermarket.|I did initially have a few issues when I first arrived. However the team did everything they could to rectify the problems. I think if you speak to them about your concerns they will go out of their way to try and help |One criticism I have is regarding the sunbeds on the beach which are only available Monday -Friday. I assume this is to fit in with staff rota for the person who puts them out each morning. Train one of the others to do it at the weekend? The beach chairs offered at the weekend are small and very uncomfortable and not what holiday maker wants to spend the day sitting in. ||The female reception staff could be sullen at times.||Small improvements would make this hotel great.||One evening I asked for an Irish coffee to be told that there was no cream behind the bar so the answer was no. There was no offer to go and get some. It was a flat no. Someone could have gone to the supermarket next door to get some. It really is the small things that make a hotel good.||Travel companies need to negotiate better check in/out arrangements. Long haul flights could mean the client is out if the house for 24 hrs. It's very down heartening to get to the hotel to be told you have to wait 3/4 hrs before you can get into the room or you need to be out at midday when your flight isn't till 10 at night. I would happily pay extra to have extended time on departure and immediate availability on arrival. This isn't a short haul flight destination. I have also passed this comment on to the travel...
