The accommodations themselves are a significant highlight. As an all-suite resort, the rooms are exceptionally spacious, feeling more like a private residence than a hotel room. The thoughtful layout, with separate living areas and kitchenettes, makes for an incredibly comfortable and relaxing stay.

The service is another standout feature. From the moment you arrive, the staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to make your trip special. The pool servers and restaurant staff are particularly wonderful, ensuring you're always well taken care of. The "Dine Out" all-inclusive plan is a major perk, allowing you to explore excellent dining options at their sister property down at the Marina, which provides a welcome change of scenery and a taste of downtown Cabo's vibrant energy.

The Lows: A Few Minor Quirks

While the all-inclusive package is excellent, it has a few small quirks that can be frustrating. The requirement to sign a bill for every drink and meal can feel tedious, especially in a place where you're trying to unwind completely. Additionally, the plan does not cover a few premium items like lobster and certain steaks, which may surprise some guests expecting a truly all-encompassing experience. The resort’s location, while providing those incredible views, means you are a bit removed from the main tourist areas. While the complimentary shuttle service helps, it's something to factor into your plans if you want to explore off-property frequently. Finally, like many resorts in the area, be prepared for a polite but persistent invitation to a timeshare presentation.

We recently returned from our first visit to El Encanto and we had a wonderful trip. We stayed at El Encanto, but visited all the restaurants at Hacienda Encantada and the Vista, as well as the spa.|One of the most positive stand outs was all of the wonderful staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful and provided excellent, consistent service.|I wanted to call out a few staff members, who we saw throughout our week here.|Mestizo - this was one of the breakfast buffet venues. Daniel, Samuel and Andrea were great! They would greet us every morning and provided stellar service throughout our meal. The buffet food was delicious with a nice variety and consistent quality; it was one of the nicer breakfast venues we have been to in our travels.|La Trajinera - This was a gourmet-type mexican restaurant for dinner, we went here several times and enjoyed the food, especially the mole and lobster. Cesar provided wonderful service and did an excellent job of explaining the menu items and helping us decide which dishes to try. |Barolo - this was the italian restaurant for dinner. Killian was our server both nights we went here and he provided prompt, excellent and friendly service, helping us to have enjoyable meals.|Il Forno - this was the pool bar area and casual pizza and burger restaurant next to the El Encanto pool. We spent our days here by the pool. Again, the service here was excellent!|Juan Ramon was our server several days and he ensured we always had a cold water and a cocktail and could enjoy our lunch at the pool.|We had a massage and facial service at the spa. My experience here was very mixed however I have positive things to say about the amazing waiters/waitresses, food (all inclusive), the views, location and all the resort amenities were AMAZING!

The shuttle 10/10, food 10/10 - however the severely undercooked salmon and lamb led me to have food poisoning.

However, I could not say the same thing about the HORRIBLE service. if you are coming for all inclusive here - DO NOT I warn you - the service is insanely slow, they make you feel like you are not part of an "all inclusive" deal and I'll go on later to explain why I had a problem with TRUSTING the PEOPLE and the employees for this hotel.

Every activity and dinner FOR the all inclusive within the resort required a pre-reservation, including dinner - which I totally understand.

It was the way that the reservation agent spoke to us as if everything was "fully booked out" when it really wasn't and lied to us.

We arrived for a shorter trip, and when trying to book a reservation through the concierge for dinner, they said they were fully booked, I begged and pleaded to see if there were any spots, and they let us.

When we showed up to the restaurant there were only 2 other couples there - so we were wondering why the HECK would you say that things were full when it truly wasn't?

Same thing for trying to book the tequila tasting. Although we had a wonderful experience - they acted as if there were "no spots left" and that everything was "booked out" when in reality, my partner and I were the ONLY ones there. I do not trust the "concierge" at this hotel and this made me want to never come back to this hotel again.
