First time we came here the pizza was very undercooked. The bacon wrapped jalapeno appetizer took 30 minutes, arrived last and arrived cold. They were not busy
The second time (only because there was a private party at the only other non-reservation restaurant at the resort) the pizza was better and served even before the bar got our drink order out They were busy
The wait staff seems to be forgetful all over the resort so you might have to ask for things repeatedly.
They close the pool side service down at 6pm
Always check your ticket to make sure they don't add extras to it.
The couches with little fire pits are great fun but there's only 5 so they are usually full
Updated - went for a pre dinner snack because our fancy dinner reservations weren't until 8:30. We got the gnocchi, shrimp fettuccine and lasagna. Everything was so delicious 😋 we made sure to compliment the cooks.
Went again last night so my son could have pizza 🍕 since the super fancy Italian place didn't serve pizza. And it was unimpressive. Both pizza and calzone were undercooked and the neither the calzone nor the pizza has any sauce (weird)
So overall I'd say good luck. The food is so hit or miss. And it's not cheap. It's resort prices. Even with our member discount we still spent $55 on a pizza and calzone + 3 waters. The...

This is primarily "the pizza place" at Hacienda Encantada and the pizza is ... Satisfactory. The dough is simply a bit flat, needs more olive oil or salt, maybe a pinch of sugar in the dough but it comes out crackery in the blandest sense (think Saltines with no salt)... Everything they put on top is great but the dough is dissapointing if you have really high pizza standards. That said, everything else you can get is amazing, the burrata salad in particular is a favorite of ours. Drinks are stardard fair for the resort, which is to say good enough. This place is BUSY. Since they don’t take reservations, just be prepared to be patient and enjoy the view. We came here for Karaoke night (Tuesday nights) and got a pizza, salad, and margaritas. We witnessed a drunk Karen have a full blown melt down that she wasn’t getting service. I wish people had more patience and manners.
