My boyfriend and I stayed here last night, after more than 30 days in Mexico, staying in different cities, this was the worst experience of our vacation. We haven’t slept and our day is ruined. Room was dirty: this includes bedside tables, couch, an armoire. Bed sheets where filthy, all stained, including yellow and blood staines. As soon as we laid down in bed we felt the bed bugs. We slept with no covers and used the bath towels as sheets. We stayed in room number 7, it is located behind the reception. The receptionist hanged out with a couple of friends until 2am, laughing, talking loud, television turned on with volume up. It was as if they were inside out room. At 3 AM we were awaken with a strong loud noise, as if some kind of emergency evacuation alarm started sounding. It echoed throughout the building and it was scaring loud. It lasted for 15 minutes. I dressed and went outside to see if it was an emergency and the guy behind the counter told me it’s normal, it would stop eventually. After it stopped and we fell asleep, more people arrived at around 4 AM, and more taking, more TV noise. We were being awaken every 20 minutes. At 6 AM the other coworker arrives, cleaning staff are already working, and they’re screaming directions from the reception to the cleaning ladies on the top floor. The two coworkers have a big talk at 6AM, laughs, jokes… it was hell. We had a flight to catch and we left. To add to all of this, we had no hot water, so we had to take cold showers. I hate to destroy businesses like this in reviews, but this place has no right to take money...
Read moreThis is a nice hotel at a reasonable price if you are on a budget. Rooms are good size for single or double, but not for a family. TV gets many channels, mostly in Spanish. Walk-in shower, no tub. Recommend not getting a room on the ground floor. Medium-size window faces hallway, so you have to keep drapes closed. Window facing outside is small and high up. Hotel is very secure at night; door is locked at a certain hour, but you can come and go 24 hours since there is a buzzer and someone is on duty all night. Hotel is a 10-minute walk from the ADO bus station and the main bus route to the Zona Hotelera. Supermarkets, convenience stores, and places to eat are also within walking distance. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I...
Read moreWe have expend three nights here. They have been doing some mayor work in the front of the building and has been very noisy. They are 3-5 men using hammers and cisels. My partner was not feeling well so we did not go out. We stayed in but we barely had any rest. I don't think it is going to be a new ongoing issue. What is an issue is that people hangout on the aisle and you can hear everything as if the windows and doors were open and they were right outside. The first day there was no hot water until second day. The neighborhood is in a working class area and going to the tourist area is about a 20...
