I switched around a couple hostels but found this one with the best atmosphere!! The volunteers there make you feel super welcomed. I really felt like it was my own home. There are enough events going on to keep your evenings occupied but there is enough space if you also want to just chill on your own. If you want a great hostel life experience - this is the one! They also offer tours to different places with really good prices. And being close to the centre so all the best bars are just a quick walk away is a huge plus!

This is one of the best hostels I’ve been too. For the price, it’s a dream. You can rent towels for 20 pesos, have access to a laundrymat in the hostels for a cheap price as well. Cooking space is great, they have activities in the hostel everyday. The rooftop offer an amazing view on the city. Common space are calm and nice, you have enough places for everyone too. They offer free potable water which is a must and even in the bathroom for toothbrushing!!!🤌🏻 They also have a cute little cat 🐈 🩷

Ottima connessione internet fino a 116mb download e 15mb in upload. Posizione comoda. Ti viene fornita l'acqua potabile. Prezzo ok, ma non per i bagni e per l'acqua. Sicuramente non supera i test igienici e ambientali. Spero si migliori.

If you are planning to visit San Cristóbal, don’t hesitate for a second, go to Casa Satoshi ! You'll definitely find a home there. The hostel is intimate, with comfortable rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and cozy, beautifully decorated common areas. I fell in love with the rooftop, which has the best view of the city, a stunning 180° panorama of the mountains and the nearby church. Having breakfast there was my favorite part of the day.

What makes this place truly special is the attention from the staff. They do everything they can to make you feel welcome. If you want to meet people from all around the world, this is the place to be. Twice a week, they organize a “family dinner,” a shared meal with all the guests and staff, creating a joyful and connected atmosphere that I absolutely loved. There’s also a bar upstairs with affordable beers, and every Saturday they host a cool party with a DJ. The party doesn’t go late, so those who want to sleep aren’t disturbed, but you can still find people to join you for clubbing afterward. The hostel is conveniently located, just a 10-minute walk from the central plaza, perfect for exploring everything this amazing city has to offer. I would definitely recommend Casa Satoshi, it felt so special to me, and I already miss the Casa...

Jordan, Foued and their team of volunteers are friendly and enthusiastic. The hostel just opened in January and the team are working on making it better. We arrived early and was able to check in to our room earlier. We had the double room and it was spacious. Clothes rack & shelves. A desk and chair for working. There was an issue with the lock on the door and curtain had came down. Both was fixed within an hour of Jordan being notified. Sunset social on the terrace was fun. Basic breakfast - toast, cereals and coffee was plentiful for us. They helped us organised the Sumidero Canyon tour. The location was close to zocalo & tourist places and within walkable distance to ADO bus terminal (15mins). It’s in a safe neighborhood, with local restaurants, bar and convenient store nearby.

They did have some water/plumbing issue. Seems to be a town-wide issue. We do know that they are working on fixing this with better water...

I spent more weeks here, and my only problem with Casa Satoshi, that too hard to leave.. This hostel is full with creativity, here is always happening something! You can find here a bitcoin talking, a free spanish lessons, or a movie nights. The volunteers making shared dinner and family dinner, and every saturday is a party! ||Basicly is a big buildig, on the ground floor is a big community area, the first floor is a cool bar, and the rooftop has an amaizing view! My favourite part of the hostel is the bar, you can find there a very cheep beer ( probably the cheepest in the city!) and also the fantastic Loopy Joosy cider. The local LJ cider making in 3 flavours and based on original british recepie !||Casa Satoshi has a great location, the super interesting Amber Museum is only 50 meter, the view point {San Cristobalito church} 500 meter, and the city center is just 5 minutes walks. Its a great place for backpackers...
