This coffee house offers a spacious and well-designed interior with an elegant atmosphere. The stylish decor creates a sophisticated environment for customers looking for an upscale coffee experience.

The coffee quality is good, with a variety of flavorful brews available. The beans are of high quality and the preparation is generally well-executed.

A notable feature is the great play zone for kids, which provides entertainment for younger visitors while parents enjoy their coffee.

However, the service can be inconsistent. Customers may experience slow service, particularly during peak hours. The staff sometimes struggle to keep up, resulting in occasional chaos that contrasts with the otherwise refined setting.

Pricing is on the higher side, reflecting the upscale ambiance and coffee quality. While some may find it expensive, others might consider it appropriate for the overall experience.

In summary, this coffee house provides a stylish environment and good coffee, along with a kid-friendly play area. However, potential visitors should be prepared for possible service issues and...

I was in this place the whole day from 07 am to 20 pm, working and eating. The food and coffee was delicious, the pastry I got not 100% my thing, but still okay. I payed 20€ for a pizza, a coffee and a pastry which I consider on the expensive end for Mexico. Although I was there all day and spent money, the barista was unfriendly and the waiters kinda ignored me most of the time. I had to ask for water and in the end serve myself, while guests next to me just got it served without question. Felt weird and uncomfortable. I can't explain what the reason for this was since I was always friendly and warm with the staff.

EDIT: Andrés who works at the backery counter spoke perfect english and was the only one being really warm and welcoming that day. Props to you! Give this guy a raise!

EDIT 2: I was sick a while ago so I could not eat anything heavy and asked for their chicken noodle soup. They did not serve me because it was on the Kids menu and I am an Adult. I told them my problem that I cant eat anything else but they did not care. Had to leave....

Went on a walking tour and discover this place. As I been told this is one of the coffee roasters that dedicate to the highest quality of beans, that means, all hand harvest with only red beans (others might use machine and mixed red and green beans when harvest) we see coffee master sorting out beans while they roast the coffees and there are many verieties of beans as well as brew method to choose from.

I choose chemex method with their most popular beans, mezcla, from Soconusco region in Chiapa. Flavor is well balanced with a bit chocolate, fruit and floral with slight acidity.

The cafe has a great ambience and music, I chilled here while hubby wants walk around the centro district.

I will come back...

“Café Histórico Tostador, A coffee experience like no other” What an extraordinary place! With the legacy of five generations or more from Finca Hamburgo in Chiapas, Café Histórico Tostador brings the magic of the mountains right into the heart of the city. Here, coffee is not just a drink, it’s art, culture, and tradition blended into one perfect cup. From single origins to every brewing method you can imagine, the passion for quality shines through. And let’s talk about the bakery… absolutely divine. True craftsmanship without pretense, just flavor, texture, and warmth at its best. If you love coffee, or simply appreciate places that honor authenticity and excellence, this is a must-visit.
