Room is large and clean. A/C worked well but plumbing is iffy at times (toilet flushing). Always hot water for showers. Staff is friendly. Pool is big and beautiful but could use some maintenance - many tiles are missing and need replacing. Manager is very friendly and helpful. There are many great restaurants within walking distance or a short cab ride away. Food at the hotel is okay but would recommend going to town for great taste and variety. Don't purchase the breakfast package. Breakfast is basically the same everyday and the same or better can be purchased much less expensively close by, outside the resort. You can pay on a daily basis if you choose to eat at the hotel. Rooms can be noisy if the next room has their TV on. Bottled water and towels provided daily in room. No hair dryers, coffee makers or mini refrigerators. This is a great place if you're looking for a clean place with a great pool and great weather. The pool and room services were positive, as well as having clean rooms along with the maintenance of the property. There are lobby bathrooms with a wonderful restaurant. Pickelball access and access to water taxis to get around in the Laguna are adjacent to the hotel. Not a far walk to other restaurants, and all the fun happenings in BARRA. It’s a short distance to the beach, But you might want the pool versus the beach for many occasions, since the surf could be rough. We booked a room online for 8 days. In retrospect, 8 days is much too long in a room with no microwave, no frig and nowhere to sit outside. Next time i would try to rent one of their villas or stay elsewhere. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the commercial area so is quite isolated. We used the restaurant very little although other dining options were some distance away. Maybe if they posted some meal daily specials, they would get more diners in the restaurant..
