I had a fantastic experience at the restaurant. The food was delicious, and the drinks were excellent. The atmosphere was really inviting and added to the overall enjoyment of the morning. The staff were friendly and extremely accommodating, which made the whole experience even better. I particularly enjoyed the Chilaquiles Barra and the Carajillo. Both were absolutely delicious and really stood out. I can't wait to go back!

The menu says Roastbeef, but the description says it's pork. The meat is falling apart good, like a shortrib, nicely presented, and so so yummy. He had the chicken cordon bleu, the mushroom cream sauce is also muy rico. Pictures is half of the Mango Salad, for lighter dinner, try this with a protein added (chicken, shrimp, or sakmon)

Great place to get coffee! Different varieties to choose from. Only downside is that they only have one size & it was way too small for me. Had to order two to feel as if it was a large. I had the matcha latte and it was delicious, I also had the taro latte iced but it tasted a lot like maizena or strawberry milk .

2 years later........my review still stands. Still not impressed, we went for breakfast this time and the overload of decoration does not make it a good breakfast. Sometimes simple is the best.

I guess I am not so much into this whole frappe smoothie, overkill of berries kind of restaurants that have an attitude and a crowd with an attitude and a staff with an attitude.

Not my place. Not my kind'a food not my crowd.

June - 2023

I was not impressed, pretending you are an upscale restaurant and than serving a factory cordon blue that I can get in any comida casera for a lot less money than the 230 Pesos they charged me here.......and better prepared, that's a fact.

Mine was deep fried, no cheese inside, it all left the building so to speak. The crust came off, the chicken breast was dry and chewy, clearly a deep frozen Sam's Club or Costco product or some place like that,

The salad was nothing like the pictures shown here, it was dark green, like rubbery spinach leaves with a little honey mustard dressing, that does not go well with the cordon blue at all. There were fruits on it, blue berry and strawberry, whoever made up that combination clearly has no idea of flavor palet.

When you run a restaurant with the looks like this restaurant you expect home made cordon blue, it is not that difficult to make, and could have easily be done in the time it took them now to prepare this fast food thing. A fresh crunchy salad is the least, to serve with a cordon blue and please learn how to prepare french fries, they were greasy.

Service was...

I have much problem discerning how anyone could rate this restaurant better than average. We were seated professionally in a decent setting. The service was professional but not very personal. The food was decent though not very German. The schnitzel was decent enough, but the mushroom gravy was left uneaten after one taste; the home fries were much more American than German; the rot kohl and the sauerkraut were nonexistent inless paying extra for an already adequately priced meal. The rest of the menu was priced much higher than the place and the food was worth. If this is the #1 restaurant in Barra de Navidad, i know my family and I will be disappointed for the rest...
