This is a beautiful little hotel in the middle of Tequila. Best thing about it is that everything is in walking distance! Which is convenient because ubers are hard to book in this town. There are taco carts, Oxxo down the block, and souvenirs shops, and Tequila everywhere. The place itself is beautiful—it gave me Hacienda vibes. The staff that checked in me was friendly and let us check in earlier. They do have luggage storage if the room is not ready. Parking on site is available. I booked the family room which came with 3 beds, extra pillows and blankets. It also had an outside seating area. The shower water pressure is not great but it was hot. Only issue is the walls must be thin. My friend and I were talking in normal voices until the front desk clerk came to knock on the door and said we were being too loud! He did that the next night. We literally had to whisper. Will I stay again in...

La Reinda was referred as an alternative. The standard 800 peso cost for a matrimonial double was high although I received a discount as a senior. As I recall, singles go for 550. However, unlike its more well-known neighbor, parking was available in the courtyard next to the lobby--very important to the handicapped like myself. In addition, the staff was quite accommodating taking our luggage up the second floor stairs (the elevator wasn't working) where our double was laid out.||||This place is old in addition to being quaint. The room needed some upgrading but, with Wifi, A/C and tranquility, I'm not the choosy type. Overall, I felt it was adequate and I had nothing really to complain about except...
Read moreWe stayed in this hotel for one night during a short trip to Tequila. The room was clean with AC and a decent shower and water was provided in the lobby. The bed was small for two people and the pillows and mattress were covered with a crinkly material which was a little annoying. Staff didn’t seem to speak any English so I’m not sure how we would have managed without our Spanish speaking relatives. The location is perfect, just a few blocks off the main square and the hotel has a very charming appearance. Would...
