Hard to do much better than this in the heart of historic Mexico City. The staff has been friendly and helpful almost to distraction (in a positive way!). That’s always a great start but that was only the beginning, here. Our room was attractive, spacious and comfortable, with a quiet and efficient air conditioner and all of the public areas were also pleasantly decorated and comfortable feeling. Finally, the breakfast buffet, though not of gourmet quality, was tasty, fresh and efficiently attended to. All in all, a terrific find in the heart of the city, just a few blocks’ walking from Plaza Alameda, the oldest and perhaps grandest plaza in the city. Ultimately, though, I believe that it was the staff that impressed us most and that will likely ensure that we stay here again upon our certain return to Mexico City. Thank you, everybody!❣️😊❣️

Hotel is quite new and fresh. I liked modern design and all utilities. Location is quite ok, not that close to attractions, but really close to public transport (metro and busses) Staff professional and helpful. Very noisy neighborhood, room sound isolation very poor, we could hear other guest speaking thure the walls easly. The was some audio bluetooth device that coudn't be turned off and control panel was blinking like crazy blue and read light. We're removing keykcard from reader to turn off electricity in the room for night. Otherwise it was very disturbing. There could be bigger varierty on breakfast buffet.

A good hotel with excellent renovation, I didn’t like the location, but in the center it seems like this everywhere to me. The cuisine is not bad, you can find something to eat, but it is better to get up early for breakfast, otherwise there will be less choice or the food may be cold. We arrived in Mexico City late in the evening, this hotel was booked, we did not exchange dollars for pesos and upon arrival we asked if it was possible to pay in dollars, in the end we were shortchanged by $120, but it was already night, so we gave the money and went to rest

The rooms were small but clean; the cleaning staff started unreasonably early and were often knocking at our door on the 3rd floor by 9am. The breakfast is basic, chilaquiles or yogurt. They charged for water everywhere but the fountain by the front desk which was very inconvenient for the price being paid for the rooms. Its on the very edge of being in a bad neighborhood and we, 2 single female travelers, did not feel comfortable walking near the main road or in the area at night. All of that is fine on its own but it was our experience getting to the hotel that still makes me very angry. As our flight got in relatively late, I reached out to the hotel to see if they offered airport pick up as after a long flight, I didn't want to worry about arranging ubers or taxis to find the hotel in the dark. The hotel responded that they offered a safe service for $350* additional to our hotel reservation price. This is significantly higher than any other airport shuttle or uber that I looked into but I figured if that for that price, they would be attentive and responsive in case something went wrong. We ended up having issues getting our bags and had to wait an additional 30mins from when the rest of our flight received their luggage. We were constantly in contact with the driver to keep him updated on our delays and it seemed fine. We were so happy we had booked the service through our hotel as we were certain a regular uber or shuttle may have canceled on us for the wait and this was part of what we paid so much for. However, we were very wrong. Not only did the driver demand payment upon arrival in cash, which we paid even though we were told by the hotel upon booking it would be added to our bill, he went to the front desk and demanded an additional $150. This additional fee was on top of the generous $100 tip we provided in cash as compensation for the issues. This simple airport pick up ended up costing us $600 for a 20minute drive! Don't trust any service this hotel arranges for you because you will be ripped off and taken advantage of! That experience greatly soured the start of our stay, and in addition to the other issues mentioned above, has led me to be unable to recommend this hotel to anyone. There are better, more affordable hotels closer to the center. Pick one of...

The quality of this hotel has shocked me, it looked exactly like in the photos. It was new, clean, very modern and everything was immaculate. Our room was thoroughly cleaned every day and the cleaning lady did an amazing job, was very friendly and spoke good english so we could ask about extra bottled water when it was finished or soap etc.||The location of the hotel could be a bit better but tbh it did not bother us that much as we like to walk, and it was like a 10 minute walk to Alameda Park, and maybe 20 minute walk to Zocalo, the only problem was that when we were coming back in the evening the road could get a bit sketchy, but nothing ever happened to us, just be careful and come back to the hotel before it gets very dark.||The breakfast was amazing! I loved the fact that there were many Mexican options so that we could try some local cuisine, and every day the options changed so you would not get bored.||The only and biggest downside of this hotel however was music in the hallway. And I would easily grant them a 5/5 rating but I can’t simply because of this issue. So they basically play music in the hallway and they play it quite loudly while the walls of the room are thin so imagine being woken up by the music at 8AM or not being able to take a nap during the day or even fall asleep in the evening because the music keeps playing. I have talked to the receptionists several times about this issue and every time they told me it was company policy to have music in the hallway and that they could not turn if off but they turned it down a bit which helped but then in the morning the receptionist changed and once again turned it up. It was extremely frustrating, this hotel was so amazing but my stay was a little bit ruined by this issue as there were many times when I could not fall asleep or when I would get woken up by the music.||So overall this hotel delivered great value for money, it was clean, safe and had an amazing breakfast but they have to do something about that music policy because it really...
