This hotel is prefect for the traveler wanting to stay across the street from the airport terminals. I will absolutely will definitely stay here again. The restaurant was OK. The wait staff were kinda hard to flag down and were rushing around. Made me think some staff had called in or something. The restaurant had run out of a couple of things on the menu. My colleagues order was wrong. Also he had asked an Old Fashion but the waiter didn't know what that was and said they only made a handful of mixed drinks. However they had everything needed to make an Old Fashion stocked in their bar. But my meal was spot on. The green chicken enchiladas were really good. My drink was a Margarita so it would have been kinda funny if they didn't know how to make one of those. Oh one funny thing did happen. I asked for an order of mexican rice as a side dish. It was not a item listed on the menu but hey I am in Mexico the chef/cook should know how to make it right, lol. I did get some rice but it was a stirfry rice heavy of the soy sauce. My colleague and i definitely got a chuckle out of that situation. Breakfast was Ok i would have preferred flour tortillas or for that matter corn tortillas along with the breakfast provided. Also they did not have orange juice in the buffet. I did not ask if they had a special order. Additionally I would have preferred a coffee carafe instead of asking for refills. Oh the lady that checked me in and checked me out was named Miriam and she was really helpful. I had wanted to print out my Covid nineteen test reults so she was able to help me het that. I wish their business printer email address would have been working but luckily Miriam was there to help me out. I also stayed on the executive level the lounge was openned it seemed ok and there was a person available to assist if you needed help...
Read moreMarch 2024 I gave this location a second chance. The proximity to the airport is a real attraction. There is no third time for me. On my second evening I waited nearly an hour for my dinner to be prepared. This evening it was an hour and nine minutes. I finally had the staff put my meal in styrofoam to eat in my room. I left my soda which was mostly melted ice from the hour wait.
I am a safety professional. The restaurant was about 1/3 capacity. The noise peaked at 99dB (hearing loss risk). This place poses as a higher end option yet the restaurant turn-around is awful; the restaurant noise is dangerously loud; the hallway carpets are stained; and they still don't fill the bathroom items.
A 2 rating is generous.
Earlier visit This hotel plays mindless music in the hallways for hours each night. It's torture.
Beyond that, No shampoo in my room, but they did provide liquid body wash and bar soap. The shower flow has no slope so the shower water backs out under the shower door and soaks the bathroom floor each morning (slippery too). I stayed on the suggestion of a colleague. I won't make that...
Read moreI stayed there for about 10 nights and below are my comments:
Rooms are dated and could use some improvements, especially the bathroom. You can see the attached photos.
The room didn’t have a microwave which was very inconvenient but that might be common for hotels in the area so I’m not too sure.
Breakfast was very underwhelming. I did get it for free for being a Diamond HH member, but it costs about 330 pesos with service and I think it’s totally not worth it. I also had dinner there one night and the food was average and a bit overpriced for the quality.
The internet got disconnected for about two days during my stay which was really frustrating as I didn’t have cellular data and was disconnected from my work and contacting my family.
I had an incident with housekeeping going into my room despite having the do not disturb sign on the door. I contacted the management and they handled it professionally, but I wouldn’t leave any valuables in the room.
On the plus side, the staff were super helpful and friendly.
The location is super convenient, I walked to and from the airport which was...
