Hostal La Buena Vida Mazunte — Hotel in Oaxaca

I went to this Hostal based on the 5 star reviews which is why i am leaving this review to help someone else make a more informed decision. I thought the location was fantastic and everything else was laid back and easy as is the vibe in Mazunte, however, the room was too small for the number of people allowed, the door wouldn’t close completely and there was two fans with low ceilings making the room very stuffy, there was no privacy to get changed and very small lockers, there was one bathroom shared between at least 10 people and the door wouldn’t close all the way and you could kind of see the person inside ( which helped to not go in but again the privacy issue) , there were always people playing loud music at all hours of the night just outside the never closing door of the one tiny room where everybody would sleep, making it impossible to actually fall asleep..all in all i was so uncomfortable that i cut my stay in...

One of the worst places I've stayed in my life. Even though the garden and the owner are nice, I left after one night while having booked 2. Firstly, a lady who stays/volunteers(?) there, ruins the vibe, making it not a pleasent experience to stay. Apart from that, the bed and the bathroom are just very poor quality. A relief to...

I'm staying nearby and I'm being kept awake by the loud music and shouting coming from this place. Please establish reasonable quiet hours, so that your guests and everyone around can sleep. I can't imagine the locals are...
