The Fish Burrito — Restaurant in Oaxaca

A dining highlight of Mazunte, you can’t visit and not go to The Fish Burrito. The best burrito I’ve ever had! There’s so many unusual sauces to choose from and they all taste unreal. The habanero (so hot but so delicious), mango and piña are my favourite. The owner is so friendly and caring he really wants you to have a great experience in his restaurant and you can tell, he makes everyone feel very welcome. I’ve actually been coming here for years now and I have recommended this to numerous friends and family who have fallen in love with this place too. My partner & I met the owner as we were looking for our accommodation. He helped us out & we went to eat & have a beer there later to say thank you that afternoon. To our pleasant surprise, the fish/shrimp burritos were amazing! We loved their homemade salsas as well which you can help yourself to (also, the beers are super cheap). We came back another night & had their nachos & tacos as well, we were impressed yet again. Ceaser & his wife are so lovely & were so helpful, giving us information about places to go in Mexico & helping us out in Mazunte. Love this place & will hopefully be back one day!...

They had just opened a few days before I visited, and were really figuring out the flow of their restaurant very well. There's a lady at the grill in the kitchen who's going to knock your socks off. The front house staff and owner are very friendly and fun. There were so many different salsas to try with the food as well, each one with more depth of flavor than the last. I was so happy to have visited this place, and got an opportunity to write my thanks on the wall. BtW had to go back again before I left Mizunte to make sure I tried the whole menu.
