Puerto Viejo House — Hotel in Oaxaca

The facilities and plants on the property are beautiful and the bed was big and comfortable. They let us check in early which was great, but the room was not completely clean (hair all over the bathroom and sand all over the floors). Also noticed a vomit smell in the room when the air conditioning wasn’t on. We were then going to switch rooms but ended up waiting around for the cleaning of the other room for hours so ended up not switching. From 6:30am it was quite loud with staff talking and yelling right outside the room and nearly impossible to sleep even though we were told this would be the quietest...

We had an excellent stay here. Well located int he middle of the most popular beaches, Zicatela and Carrizallio, it is a short drive to La Punta and minutes walk from the bus from Oaxaca. ||The pool is perfect to relax after a busy day out and the rooms are big and clean. This was a delightful stay while exploring Puerto Escondido. Walking distance from multiple beaches and incredible restaurants, the location is excellent and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I cannot say enough how nice both the pool area and covered seating areas are....
