⚠️ Terrible Experience with La Distral - Grand Fiesta Americana No Refund and No Accountability ‼️
Completely Disappointed on Christmas Eve We had booked our Christmas Eve dinner at La Distral in Puebla, hoping for a festive and luxurious evening. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but joyful. Despite following the restaurant's instructions to make a deposit via wire transfer to secure our reservation, we were told upon arrival that they had no record of the payment. Not only did they refuse to honor our reservation, but they also declined to issue a refund, leaving us without a dinner plan on such a special night.
This lack of organization and customer care and having hostess blatantly lie to you about not speaking English, laughing in our faces and refusing to let you speak with a manager completely ruined our Christmas celebration. I am incredibly disappointed with La Distral and caution others about their reservation and payment handling.
Despite their promises, I have yet to receive my refund. It has been a whole month, and the restaurant has been completely uncooperative.
I have tried repeatedly to get in touch with their team, but every time I call, they avoid my inquiries and refuse to connect me with their finance department or a manager, every time I call they hang up on me in the middle of the call. It’s as if they are purposefully dodging my calls. When I finally got through, they had the audacity to tell me to contact my bank regarding the refund, which I already did. I even provided La Distral with the necessary documents from my bank showing they still have my money. Yet, they continue to refuse to process my refund or even acknowledge the issue.
This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. It feels like they are holding my money hostage, and their customer service is absolutely disgraceful. I urge everyone to think twice before making any reservations or transactions with La Distral. They do not care about their customers, and they clearly do not intend to resolve issues in a fair or timely manner. Avoid this place...
