An honest swedish review. This hotel is nice and feels new and fresh. It’s one of the first hotels that have been finished in a new hotel area outside of Tulum. The backside is that a lot of new hotels are being built around it, which is pretty noisy during daytime. There is one new hotel that is being built litteraly 2 meters next to Jade. The hotel is situation litteraly in the jungle right between Tulum city and Tulum beach, with approx 2,5km to both. A tip is to rent a car/moped/bike (since there is no sidewalk to walk on), all of these can be rented at the hotel. There are also taxis parked outside 24/7, but they are pretty expensive, around 15-25 USD for a single trip. The room/condo is big and supernice, has a full kitchen and tub on the balcony. Some has commented on the water temp, but I realized that you have to put the faucet on a very specific setting and then you get hot water. The wifi is good and every room has it’s own, we haven’t got the locker to work, even with the key. Double AC units in every appartment. The hotel staff is great and helpful, the reception is manned 24/7. There is a breakfast al a carte, but other than that, no bar or restaurant open. instead you can order food delivery from a partner hotel close by. There is little to no activity around the pool during daytime, which is a little bit sad. We went to the beach every day instead which is a totally different story. Overall a really nice hotel.

I'm on the edge, as I wanted to love this location in the remote jungle and away from the city and beach traffic - but this location is wayyyyy to out there. Service is good dont get me wrong, everyone who worked there was sooo kind! We utilized an ATV while staying here and I feel we would've hated it without our amazing ATV. The reviews are correct, the advertised "restaurant" is still under construction 2 years after opening, boo. The website seems like you can order room service, so very misleading... you have to order for delivery from the nearby restaurant, La Consendita, and guess what, my husband got food poisoning (pizza didnt make me sick, but the pasta is no bueno!! Stay clear!). He was violently sick on our 1 year wedding anniversary :(( ruined the entire point of our Mexico trip, as we saved all the most fun things for THAT day, our last full day in Mexico... so bummed. Didn't even use the pool areas as a lot of loud construction going on (on and off site), plus many children where occupying the space and being very loud and obnoxious (until 2am btw). We missed our previous beach location - Orchid Beach House, it makes sense why the prices are so different, but worth the splurg clearly.

Hôtel pas digne d’un 4 étoiles.. Par quoi commencer ? L’accueil aucune informations concernant l’hôtel / alentours.

My partner and I are currently staying at Jade Tulum.

Good: If your looking for a cute aesthetic this hotel definitely has that! It’s absolutely gorgeous and the proximity to the main areas of Tulum is ideal. Iv seen other reviews about elevators and hot water not working but they must have recently had these concerns fixed.

Bad: The noise levels are pretty ridiculous, I don’t just mean the construction or other sounds of the city but we had staff in the courtyard talking/yelling/playing games until 3am. And the walls are paper thin so you can always hear people coming and going.

Privacy is an illusion. All of the balconies face each other and some over look others which means that the beautiful romantic private pools and hot tubs are more or less shared. So if your thinking you might like to enjoy your hot tub with your partner at night also be prepared to be sharing it with your neighbour. This evening, coming down the stairs to the lobby I was confronted by a man using his tub on his balcony. Awkward and uncomfortable for both of us I’m sure.

The rooms Are not particularly clean (we had cigarette butts in our pool) and don’t feel entirely secure. Our doors are just a small door lock and both safes in our room had no power. Given other reviews about things being stolen I’m not overly shocked.

Ugly: We read online that there was a hotel restaurant, but when we asked at the lobby we’re told no, only “room service” we checked in late and decided room service was our best option. Looked them up online and the menu seemed good. Much to our dismay it took over two hours for the order to show up. Gross, cold and soggy and there is still a mandatory tip applied. Turns out the “restaurant” is downtown Tulum and happens to deliver to this hotel. Do yourself and your digestive system a favour and skip it.

The biggest concern and what I think people should really know about this hotel is that just over the exterior walls is a “tent city” for unhomed people. And you’re about two blocks from some pretty impoverished areas that my partner and I, who travel a lot and both live in large cities, felt unsafe.

All in all, wouldn’t stay here again there are much...
