Refugio Tulum, Brunch — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

We went here for brunch and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The space is beautifully designed, capturing the aesthetics that Tulum is famous for—serene, welcoming, and immersed in nature. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home.

The chef went above and beyond, crafting a made-to-order breakfast burrito that was simply exceptional—easily one of the best I’ve ever had (and I’m a regular burrito enthusiast, enjoying them at least twice a week). Honestly, it’s a flavor and quality I can’t even find in LA unless I make it myself at home. The smoothie was equally delightful, refreshing, and perfectly balanced.

The ambiance was magical, with the soothing sound of birds, soft music, and the tranquil setting of trees surrounding us. My girlfriend absolutely loved her dish too, making the whole experience even better.
