Love the industrial/bohemian design. All the employees we met were polite and friendly. Lic in particular gave great service. You can safely ignore anyone who complained about dogs and roosters - it's San Pancho, you're going to have that issue at most places you stay. Earplugs are supplied in any case. Pool was heated and empty of other guests every time we used it. Common areas were kept very clean. Amenities like bikes were a welcome addition. Access to a fridge and kitchenette were most welcomed features. Sourdough and marmalades in the morning were indeed as good as everyone else has commented, especially the manzana y canola and the ghee. All their products appear to be local and sourced from the weekly mercado. Coffee is strong but that's how we like it. We did note an unpleasant odor especially in the mornings - either from outside or more likely from the drains. Thankfully they provide incense which makes this a non-issue. Recommend running your sink, this may help alleviate the issue. The rooms are fairly small but if you're spending time in them during the day then you're doing San Pancho wrong. Beds and pillows are very comfortable and the A/C in the bedroom works really well. Linen towels and robes were reqlly nice also. Doors were a little quirky, didn't quite get the hang of them even after a week - and not for lack of trying.

It was like sleeping outdoors in NYC next to a kennel, construction project and highway. There was loud conversation coming from next door all night. Construction went on until 10 pm and picked up again around 4. And the dogs barked throughout the night. They were like birds, when one started all the others, and I was unable to count them, would bark in. When we got up, there was no water. Luckily the staff had made coffee, which was excellent, before the service interruption. We were told this was a frequent occurrence. The front desk person was very nice and helpful. ||The “room” is more like a hallway with a bed in the wall. Getting in and out was not comfortable and when one got out in the middle of the night, one could not achieve that without disturbing one’s partner. It was 16 steps from the curtain entrance to the bathroom. It was about 3 feet wide. It was more like a narrow parapet...

This hotel has a very interesting and beautiful design. A hotel with no walls let you feel like you are outside but enjoying the confort of the hotel. The decoration with natural plants and all the details perfectly cared, provides you a fantastic experience. The shower with great pressure, hot water, shampoo and body wash with incredible aroma. The pleasant rest on the bed with amazing sheets and blanket super soft. The spaces well used, taking care of the being practical for storage and safety. The pool with a wonderfully design and warm water!! 10 min walking from beach, and easy easy path for a hiking to a mountain. Overall it was a...
