Went here after seeing good reviews, appetizing looking pictures, and seeing that they bake their own bread and biscuits. We ended up there late morning, nearly lunch time, and ordered the dough joe breakfast sandwich with their house made sausage and the BLTA. Both were excellent! The biscuit was crumbly and rich, toasted well, and the cheese even had some crusty bits on the edges. Sausage was very good. The BLTA was on thick, crusty, sour pieces of delicious toast with sufficient butter or some kind of fat to make it super dense and crunchy. Good veggies and good bacon. Lots of avocado. We had high expectations and we were impressed! I would highly recommend eating here once if you’re in town for at least a few days. We try to mix it up with smaller traditional taquerias with authentic salsitas and meats and also like to go to more expensive and fancy spots like this one to get some variety. You probably wont find us at the more upscale places closer to the beach, we are happy to find the more rewarding gems...

We used to enjoy coming here despite the slow service and less-than-friendly waitstaff because the food was good. Unfortunately, today’s experience was disappointing.

We waited 45 minutes for our food, only to receive a burnt pancake and overall greasy dishes. The service was minimal—waiters took our order and delivered the food but didn’t check in or offer a welcoming attitude.

Given the restaurant's higher prices, the combination of slow service, indifferent staff, and declining food quality makes it hard to justify breakfast here. There are much better options available.

That said, their coffee remains one of the best in town, and their homemade donuts and sweet treats are excellent. If you're just looking for a good coffee and a pastry, it's still...

Pésimo servicio al cliente y a mexicanos. Le dan prioridad a los extranjeros. Llegamos 5 personas, 3 mexicanos y 2 australianos. Desde que le pedí a la chica de la caja un menú en inglés, noté la mirada despectiva. El chai helado pésimo, sabía literalmente a agua con canela. Cuando le pedí que si por favor podían agregar un poco más de chai porque no tenía sabor, volvieron a echarnos miradas y desde ahí el servicio fue deplorable. Estuvimos esperando más de 30min por el desayuno, una mesa de extranjeros llegó 10min después que nosotros y recibieron su comida cuando nosotros no habíamos recibido nada aún. En el lugar habíamos solamente 3 mesas (cuando llegamos). Aún así, nunca se nos notificó que la comida podía tardar un poco más. Cuando mi cuñada fue a preguntar si podíamos cancelar la orden, ya que teníamos prisa por nuestro check out, el trato de la de caja fue súper grosero. Su respuesta fue “ay, ya sabía” y frases como “aquí no somos MC Donald’s ”, “si ustedes son los que tienen prisa ustedes nos tienen que decir”. Todavía nos quisieron cobrar la cuenta completa aunque los alimentos nunca nos llegaron. Además le tomaron una foto a mi cuñada para publicarla como “mala cliente” entre los restaurantes de San Pancho. Quiero dejar claro que nuestra actitud hacia las meseras siempre fue amable, pero cuando la de caja se portó grosera con mi cuñada, pues claro que ella se defendió. Qué pena que traten a sus clientes de esa manera. Solo una chica que estaba de negro fue la única amable. Todas las demás, que iban de rosa, MUY groseras en su actitud...
