I've stayed at the Radisson several times on and off over the past two years when visiting Moldova for work – including for several long multi-week stays. Every stay has been wonderful and the Radisson continues to be my preferred hotel for my trips. Conveniently situated in the heart of Chișinău, the hotel is walking distance from excellent restaurants, cafes, shops, and parks. The hotel itself is impeccably clean and comfortable, with cozy and well-equipped rooms with extensive amenities. I loved the gym and spa area, both of which were clean and well-stocked with towels and other items. The breakfast buffet is extensive with a wide range of hot and cold items, including delicious traditional Moldovan dishes. I also appreciated the in-house restaurants and room service options, as well as the delightful wine shop featuring an excellent selection of local Moldovan wines.

What makes the Radisson stand out, however, is the 5-star service from management and staff alike. Staff are highly professional and helpful and are eager to ensure guests have a pleasant experience. Any issues – no matter how small – are immediately addressed and rectified by management. The entire team makes you feel like you’ve got a home away from home, which I very much appreciate as someone who spends a significant amount of time traveling for work. On several occasions, staff left thoughtful gifts in my room, such as a bottle of Moldovan wine or chocolates.

So.. let's start from the positive sides:beautiful rooms, comfortable bed, nice breakfast. Servhce was not at its best: room was practically not cleaned during a 5 day stay. Only the towels were changed and some toiletries added (although I needed to remind them at least four times that we were two persons and everything should be provided for two). When we wanted to go up to the rooftop, which they have suggested upon check-in, we weren't allowed inside, with the argument that the bar was closed and opened only at 6pm. As we explained that we were guests and wanted to sit for 5 minutes and have a smoke, the housekeeping staff member told us, she ha just washed all the ashtrays and didn't want them to get dirty again (?!). When I went down and told about this to the reception, she told me the terrace was a closed one and she didn't think we are allowed to smoke there. When i told her it is not a completely closed terrace and smoking is allowed there, she decided to check this information and called a colleague. As she was tild that i was right, she started to brung other reasons why we shouldn't have been there. When I told her what the housekeeping told me about the ashtrays(utter nonsense) she didn't react and has just completely neglected my co.plaint and didn't even try to be helpful.
