Quite delicious Placinte but another dish I ordered (polenta with chicken) came out completely cold; some of the chicken still semi frozen. (I’ve learned in this region these dishes are precooked and reheated. I had multiple cold food issues across Romania and now in Moldova)

Read moreAlthough it is a chain restaurant, it is known for its systematic and careful use of local ingredients. The price range is very reasonable and the service is attentive. The menus are accompanied by photographs, and the well-thought-out layout and clear suggestions for dishes are also highly appreciated. The modern and traditional fusion cuisine seems to be well received.
The interior has a modern yet warm atmosphere with traditional Moldovan colours, making it a good place to relax and enjoy a meal. When I heard that La Plăcinte is part of the Andy's Pizza company, I could see why the design of the restaurant has a modern, comfortable and warm atmosphere, but also a ‘big city’ elegance. This is an excellent restaurant chain that Moldova can be proud of.
