A fantastic spot, run by very warm-hearted staff, with the basic facilities anyone would want for a cheap stay.

We enjoyed the space in the entrance hall for playing games while our little kid slept in the room. We were there in quiet season, so the rooftop area wasn't in use but we still went up to enjoy the views.

The very basic feel of the bathroom, quality of the 2nd (sofa) bed, and the musty smell (v minor...I couldn't smell it, but my wife could), would only concern us if we were paying far more than 340 dirhams per night. We knew what we were getting and were delighted it met all expectations.

The cockerel and call to prayer both concerned us for the morning, but neither woke us up.

We'd happily come back again and warmly...

I literally loved my tent up there on the terrace, it was exactly what I had been hoping to have. Wonderful view from the tent over the terrace and towards the sea.||It was comfortable even though the space was not that big, but I was alone so there were no problems with anything.||I liked the breakfast too, nice to sit there and enjoy life.||Wifi worked really well. Staff friendly and very helpful.||Location was good too, so there is nothing at all to complain about. I recommend this Riad to anyone thinking of booking it.||||Disliked · The weather could have been better, would have been nicer with the blue sky, but of course it is not wrong...

We stayed at Maison d’hôtes Cité Portugaise in El Jadida, and it was a pleasant experience. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the historic Portuguese City. The property has a cozy, authentic charm, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable, ideal for a short stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

The atmosphere is wonderful. It is both elegant with the decorations and rural with the roosters that wakes you up. It is inside the Portuguese city and very close to a roof top cafeteria/restaurant and the main street. The room was ok and the bathroom as well. Don't miss the terrace. The only con was the bed a bit hard, otherwise, everything great.
