First off, should not be a 4 star hotel... let's start off with the room, although clean the amenities were non functional, jets in the bath were unfunctioning the shower had horrible pressure and took a long time to become even Luke warm and the shower curtain was caked in mould, the bath room had a deep stench and had a leek coming from the bath, the bathroom had zero ventilation which only intencified the smell when it became warm. The small bed we had in our room was very small, so small that my sons feet were hanging out. When needing a glass to drink from the room was desolate so when going to the bar to enquire about obtaining a glass the barman felt the need to argue before reluctantly giving one up. The room seemed to have phone numbers for the desk and restaurant but there was no phone to be found. Finally the hotel had many many sets of stairs to climb to reach our room and the hall ways had no lights, if you are with someone who needs a wheelchair to get around I plead that you do not book a room here. At £100 per night here at hotel des îles it simply felt like highway robbery and being left...

I wish I could post negative stars!!! Stayed here during the Best of Morocco tour with Trafalgar June 2018, it was the most hideous motel, yes motel not hotel that I have ever stayed in. I can deal with a hotel being older but being older doesn't excuse cleanliness. The room they gave us required us to walk down and alley through bugs to a room across from the dumpster. The lock hardly worked on the door, it was full of bugs, flies and spiders. The toilet continued to leak all over the floor, it was cracked all on the bottom and a huge whole was behind the toilet exposing the filthy outside and allowing entry of more bugs. The towels looked like they hadn't been washed in years, the wifi only works in the lobby and if you are lucky you may have working outlets. I was terrified to stay in this room, touch anything and knew to sleep in there require many alcoholic beverages. We made other arrangements the same night and vacated. Those rooms in that alley should be condemned. The entire hotel needs major updates. BEWARE!!! DO...

Literally the worst hotel i've ever been to. I stayed here with my friend two nights and i hated every second of it. How could this be a 4 stars hotel, it barely deserves 2 stars !! The hotel is very dirty and the staff are not even helpful. The pillows and bedding are very dirty, i even found a hair on my pillow and my friend found toothpaste on hers, and they were also torn apart, and we talked to the receptionist about this twice and they wouldn't even do something, and when we insisted they sent someone who just literally left a bed cover on top of our beds as if they're saying we should make the bed, when it's literally a 4 stars hotel so this should be done for you. We also found many bugs and when we couldn't kill one we wanted to call someone from the reception but no one was there, so we had to let a stranger in our room to help us. They do not care about their customers and everything is so dirty and disgusting. If you ever plan to come here please don't, this is definitely the worst place i've...

I stayed in this hotel only 2 nights then changed it immediately to another Hotel. This hotel was 4 stars 20 years ago now is 1 star only. As you can see in the photos, the Hotel has no central heating or air conditioning. In winter time warm in summer extremely hot. We could not take shower because it was freezing cold, after two nights I got sick. The small heaters that we had in the rooms were not enough to warm up the room and they were dangerous. This hotel has 0 in health and safety regulation. I left the hotel because I was feared for my life of any cause of fires by the unsafe heaters. The structure of this hotel is very old and there were no renovation for years at it seems to be. We could not even site in the lobby to relax or use the internet because of the cold, even the resturant was cold. Don’t visit this hotel if you want to enjoy ur holiday. We got sick and our holiday were ruined and we lost a lot money.

I am the owner of a travel agency and recently visited this hotel to discuss accommodation options for a group. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing due to the behavior of the parking guard. Despite explaining the purpose of my visit and that I had business with the reception, I was not allowed to enter the hotel. This unprofessional conduct left a negative impression, especially considering that I was there to explore potential collaboration and bring a group of clients. First impressions are extremely important in the hospitality industry, and being denied entry in this manner was unacceptable. I strongly recommend that management review the conduct and training of the parking staff, as such treatment can drive away valuable business opportunities. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and ensures a more welcoming and professional approach in the future.

This historic hotel could be the best in the city if renovated. The best location is close to the center of the medina and the beach. Professional and helpful staff at the reception. Very good breakfast for Moroccan standards. Great view from the rooms on the city embankment. But everything is very old and gradually breaks down. There was a terrible sewer smell in my room. The bathroom was poorly cleaned and there was a spider web. While I was sitting in an armchair in my room right in front of me, an old table with a heavy marble top suddenly collapsed - only miraculously, the table top did not fall on my leg and broke it. The Wi-Fi wasn't good enough.
