La Table by Madada — Restaurant in Essaouira

Atmosphere : 10/10 Service : 9/10 ( 10 being perfection there are little details that only a professional would notice, so I am being harsh) Food : 7/10 - It is a little bland. The appetiser they offer is really nothing special for example and the bread is not great . The food is not bad, it is just not amazing. I expected better. Price : well for Morocco it is an expensive evening but it is also a special place and you could easily find other restaurants with the same prices but with much much lower value for your money .

The total should be a 8.5/10 but truly this was a beautiful evening. Overall with the atmosphere and the incredible guitarist playing and singing while we were having dinner ended up being a moment to cherish and remember for a long time . Forget my rating for the food and the cost of the evening. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. It is very special and overall for us it would be one of the highlight of our holiday. Lovely, opulently designed dining room, food was of a good quality .. Definitely recommended . It's quite a large restaurant ( though well designed so it didn't feel like it ) but seemed a bit understaffed so service was a bit slow .. they were more focused on several larger groups

The credit card machine seems a perennial problem reading the reviews... It clearly doesn't work and didn't for us after a perfunctory effort to try it .. Given the price and quality otherwise they really should fix that.

Also maybe the guy playing the same few guitar chords over and over again all night maybe could extend his repertoire a bit ..

Overall it's a good place though, they're just minor articles .., You won't be disappointed (especially if you don't expect the credit card...
