I really enjoyed my stay here. If I were to compare the rooms, breakfast and noise level from outside, I would say it could be comparable to staying at a decent motel in a busy area... The service is amazing! The owner is such a lovely and personable lady, and the manager, Kamid, went above and beyond. The feeling in this space is laid back and familiar. The staff is warm and caring. It's very close to the entrance into the Medina from the bus stop. Literally a 5min walk and you can leisurely explore the Souk and everything that makes the Medina both old, rustic, new and conceptual all at once. I forgot to photograph the lobby/reception area in the Riad. Bummer. It's beautiful. Make sure you sit in the lounge area, lay back in the couches and look up toward the stairs area to get a good appreciation for the decor.

We spent a night here in one of the upper floor rooms. After a bad night with little sleep because of the noise outside (people, seagulls and prayer callings) we were woken up by force at 08:30 with half a dozen of tourists having breakfast at the very front of our bedroom, less than 2 meters away, banging their cups, dishes and cutlery and dragging chairs all over. I went outside to smoke a cigarette and saw that the rooftop was totally empty. For the hotel owners: there is no need to serve breakfast at the door of other guests, it’s terribly annoying, just take them to the rooftop or downstairs and try to respect the rest of the guests in the upper floor please.

We absolutely loved our stay here - can not fault it whatsoever. All of the staff were super kind and accommodating and made us feel at home. The breakfast was our favourite part, enjoyed on the beautiful and sunny terrace. Our room had everything we needed. Location was great as it was in a quieter part of the medina, but still only a 5 minute walk away to everything you need. Beach was only 10 minute walk away. Our favourite stay in Essaouira by far!!! Would absolutely come back. Wifi connection was also the best we had here, even considering our room was on the top floor. J'adore.

We stayed for one night as we did an overnight trip from marrakech. The riad is easy to find and sitting 15 mins walk through the medina to the main roads where you can shop and eat. We arrived at 2pm and the room wasn't quite ready but this wasnt a problem as we sat on the terrace whilst they finished. Our room was number 32 which was on the roof. Rooms are quite compare however as we onky needed to sleep there this wasnt a big issue. There is still enough space to move around comfortably. Bathroom with shower (not the best but it did its job). The room was immaculately clean and there are facilities to make a hot drink. The riad looks exactly like photos (look on booking.com). The staff were very friendly and chatty. Breakfast was breads cakes yoghurt fruit and cereal. Very good and plentiful. Room was quite hot in the night and the bed has a thick duvet, other reviews I have read said the rooms were cold. Overall I was really pleased with this hotel which at £40 for 2 witj breakfast is a...

Amazing! The staff were very friendly and so helpful, giving us great recommendations for places to eat/watch the euros and preparing breakfast for us early to accommodate for our morning flight on our final day. The riad is beautifully decorated throughout (as it looks in the images) and is in a great location on the edge of the medina - it was a short walk to the lively centre, but far enough away that it was quiet at night. |The room itself was lovely and was cleaned daily to an immaculate standard, with fresh towels and the bed made. Breakfast was also amazing, consisting of freshly pressed orange juice, coffee, mint tea on request, Moroccan pancakes, bread, jams/honey, occasionally fruit… and so on. Really convenient and sets you up well for the day. Value for money is great too, so it’s perfect for budget travelling. If we return to Essaouira, we would definitley stay here again...
