Very disappointed with our meals in this restaurant. I had the chicken stuffed with spinach and cheese which was served with rice. The rice was good but the chicken was really poor. It was overcooked and the meat was dry. The spinach stuffing was lukewarm and had very little flavour. My husband had fish which was served with vegetables. It was okay but the portion was very small for the price. A couple sitting at another table were joined by a white cat who sat on the table mats on the table adjoining theirs, watching everything that went into their mouths. The staff made no attempt to move it away or clean the table it sat on afterwards. There were several staff in the kitchen, chatting away among themselves with their backs to the restaurant, completely ignoring their customers. We waited for at least 15 minutes after finishing our meal and in the end had to go over to the kitchen to ask for our bill. We felt the price was high for what we got.    Read moreThis restaurant is very highly rated, and from the standpoint of the rooftop view and the lovely staff, their 4.9 rating is well-deserved. Once you climb the narrow, twisty stairs to the roof, the 360 view is gorgeous. You can see the sea above the rooftops of Essaouira in every direction. And the staff are so pleasant; the whole charming place has a kind and gentle vibe thatâs irresistible. The day we were there for lunch, the food was good. The terrace is so lovely and relaxing that we enjoyed lingering on and on while we waited for food, but itâs not a good place to go for...
