Resto Vague Bleue — Restaurant in Essaouira

Best meal we had our entire trip through Morocco. Simple but absolutely delicious fish dishes (we had Dourada) with potato’s. While you wait they serve you a small starter of tomato salad, sautéed green beans and rice with two juice glasses (one banana, peach and orange, the other orange, melon and green grape). They extremely kind, one of them walked with me to the public restroom by the medina and waited for me to walk me back to the restaurant. Super super nice ladies. Honestly a big fan!! It is a tiny place though, max 10 people i think....

You cannot find another place that serves 2-course for DH50! The address on Tripadvisor is wrong so better google it. I recommend downloading maps.me for offline navigation (of course, don’t forget to download the area you need!).

They have really good starters, seafood and pasta! They also serve excellent fruit juices! The dishes are all divine and excellent that we ate here every lunch! Service is excellent and friendly. Good to see this very popular restaurant open again at last. It took a long time to re-open after Covid. It was my first "go-to" on arriving yesterday. Quality and the menu have changed little and prices are only slightly up - 70 Dirhams (£5.60) for 3 vegatable tasters plus 2 fruit shots by way of hors d'oevre and then skate wing in caper sauce with potatoes.
