Lovely little hotel in an ideal location for exploring Rabat. Medina, Kasbah & corniche all within easy walking distance, tram stop just 10 mins walk away. Easy to find your way around from the hotel as it’s just off a main road opposite one of the old town gates. Plenty of shops & places to eat nearby. |WiFi was good in room & in lobby but not upstairs on the roof terrace.|Nice roof terrace with views of the city, a beautiful mosque & the sea in the distance. |We had a twin room at the front of the hotel with a view of the street, the mosque & the sea. There is a little noise from the street but nothing that bothered us.|The room was clean & comfortable & was cleaned daily. The only downside was the tiny bathroom. Very small shower & the toilet was raised up on a step which was a little awkward. Despite the small size it was adequate for a few days city break & there was plenty of hot water. |Breakfast was in the dining area on the roof. Fresh juice, tea, lovely coffee, omelette, Moroccan pancakes & bread. |Staff were really friendly & helpful.|Will definitely visit again. I don’t think you can beat this place for value & location in Rabat, especially if you’re on a budget. |Thanks for...
Read moreWARNING: I WAS STOLEN 100€ BY THE CLEANING SERVICE! Watch out when you are staying in this hotel, the service steals money from the rooms with the owner's allowance! When I repported that 100€ had dissapeared from an envelope in my room, the receptionist gave us the number of the owner of the hotel. We called him and he promised to us, that if we went to the police and reported that 100€ had been stolen, he would take care of the situation and gave us our money back. After spending a whole afternoon in the police station, and bringing the report back to the hotel, the owner just stopped answering our calls, so our money was never given back! He never showed up at the hotel and the receptionist just washed his hands of it. This makes me think if the owner, the receptionist or both band together with the cleaning service to steal money from guests. BE CAREFUL, I would absolutely NOT RECOMMEND this hotel, there are many nice places in Morocco and this is DEFINITELY NOT one of them! If you stay there, DO NOT give your keys to anyone, and DO NOT leave any valuable things in the room while...
Read moreThe hotel looks nice from the outside, even inside from the lobby area to the corridors. You think you've made the right choice until you open the door to your room. Mouldy, black spots, everywhere on the parts of the walls and ceilings of both the sleeping area and bathroom; obvious signs of poor ventilation. Terrible sound proofing, I could hear the coffee machine whirring from the breakfast patio above, people in the corridors talking, locking their doors loudly. It was a stay I will never repeat. The only positive was the simple but really nice breakfast included in the price. The staff were okay...
