Hôtel Complexe le Fint Ouarzazate — Hotel in Ouarzazate

On approaching the hotel I was afraid it was deserted. At least it looked that way. It is a big complex and it must have been a splendid cluster of buildings in its time. But this must have been a long time ago. ||The hotel building surrounds a large central court with a pool. There are a number of staircases leading to a few rooms each, the rooms are numbered erratically, so that one must be lucky to find the right one. And of course, one is looking for the room with their luggage, because there are NO ELEVATORS! Well, practically it would be impossible to have them as the rooms are totally dispersed. ||The room, like the hotel as a whole, was spacious enough, but everything in it was old, old ... Not only new equipment, the hotel is also in urgent need of repairs, beginning with broken tiles and going on endlessly. ||The staff was polite, the food was not as good as in other hotels of the same rank in Morocco. There was not much choice and the restaurant was lit so poorly that we could hardly see what to take. The choice at breakfast was also very limited, mostly to butter and very sweet jam. Beautiful pool and garden, it’s nice to relax and enjoy here for a day. Food was delicious and best we had so far at the hotels in morocco! Only thing is: it is really really hot in the restaurant, so you can’t fully enjoy the food, an ac would be a good idea! The ac in the bedroom worked very good! Which was very nice. Our room was not really clean (hairs and dust all over, water on the floor in the bathroom, see pictures) but when we asked about it, they cleaned it right away, but the cleaning lady was not very nice about it. We stayed there when there for 1 night when there was a Festival on (but we didn’t know this beforehand). Festival was good to watch (we watched it from the rooftop as the staff kindly told us we could).|Room was lovely and looked into the pool.|Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful.
