Bliss Luxe Hotel — Hotel in Yangon

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations, especially considering the high price. Here are the issues I encountered:

Unnecessary Requests for Basic Amenities: The hotel repeatedly asked for deposits for items like towels and toiletries. Even after providing the deposit, we had to request basic items like face towels, toothpaste, and toothbrushes multiple times. This was inconvenient and frustrating.

Poor Room Conditions: The rooms were not well-maintained, and the overall cleanliness was subpar. Additionally, the rooms lacked proper insulation, making them uncomfortable.

Terrible Breakfast Experience: The breakfast was the worst part of my stay. The food selection was extremely limited (only 2 options), and the quality was poor. The dishes lacked flavor, and there wasn’t enough variety to justify the price.

Unprofessional Staff Behavior: The waiter in the dining room was completely unprofessional. Instead of attending to guests, he was glued to his phone and ignored customer requests. This level of service is unacceptable.

Inadequate Buffet Setup: The buffet was poorly organized. There weren’t enough plates, and the food options were minimal. It felt like the hotel was cutting corners.

Rude and Unattentive Staff: The overall attitude of the staff towards guests was dismissive and unprofessional. They seemed uninterested in providing good service, which made the stay even more unpleasant.

Reasonable price with acceptable service quality and convenient location, close to the old town Yangon. The room I stay is fairly spacious with the price they charge. Though a small hotel and room size are not that big, bathroom is spacious enough (I expected to have small bathroom but big enough with good layout). Staff are just ok and so is their service. Housekeeping should be improved but acceptable (bathroom). Rooms are not sound proof. Breakfast is very simple and basic but can't complaint with the price you pay. The location is great. The prices are great and affordable. I like that they don't charge a different price for foreigners unlike most places in Burma. You get access to cold and hot water the only downside is the service quality has been decreasing. They slack with cleanliness and management, they were ants and bugs in most rooms, it smells like cigarettes there were cockroaches the shower and taps weren't functioning properly.
