The hotel asked for parking fee when I parked my car. I saw an empty space and I parked my car and was going to the bank beside it. The securities run to me and "yelled" at me and asked me 1000 kyats for parking fee. Is that legal at all? And I don't think any of the other hotels in Myanmar ask for parking fee. Of course if they said to me nicely that it's for the hotel guests only, I would understand and I would move my car. But asking money (no matter how much it is) for parking is very low. It had all the basic amenities but no frills and it was clean and comfortable for 1 person. There was a drains odour from the bathroom from time to time and the A/C was prone to warm up.
