The District Coffee Lounge — Restaurant in Yangon

Out of 4 visits, 2 great, 1 power cuts every 10min, so wifi interrupted, 1 no wifi at all. You are a coffee lounge where people come to work, amongst other things. Wifi problems is unacceptable here! Or at least inform customers when they arrive before they order anything, maybe they don't want to stay if there is no wifi. And constant power cuts? You have a generator for some lighting, great. Why not add a UPS for the wifi router so it doesn't disconnect every 10min. It is the most annoying thing ever because you have to wait another 5min for it to come back on. So basically you come here and have internet on and off every 5min. Try to see it from.the customer's perspective and how annoying this can be. Other than that, food and drinks, I still love them. Particularly your classic burger. But these issues in the past 2 visits were really annoying and will push me to look for someplace else next...

This is easily one of my favorite coffee shops in Yangon, but the coffee is not good. Instead go for the Capuccino, it's great, but avoid the black coffee, I come very often and almost every time it is either old coffee that you can tell has been sitting on the coffee machine for a long while, or even worse, re-heated old coffee. The pastry is good and I've never eat here, but the sandwiches look good as well. The best thing about this place is the environment, is comfortable, fresh, bright , a lot of people working on their laptops, it just feels good. Its food taste good and has large manu. Many coffee variety to choose from. The seatings are comfortable and tables have space wide enough to feel not too uncomfortable. It serves detox water ( water with lemons and lime) for free and you can serve yourself from the stand. Has newspapers and magazines stand where you can grab and read. Small parking place. Prices are a bit more than usual coffee shops but it is reasonable. It does not have indoor smoking room but you can smoke just outside the shop where they've placed small tables.
