This is a very pleasant, mid-priced hotel in Yangon, within easy walking distance of the Shwedagon (see note below), which is the greatest attraction in Yangon. I have stayed here twice now and will stay here whenever I come to Yangon. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly. The laundry is excellent. The breakfast in the adjoining restaurant is average. I have been very happy staying at H Valley Yangon and hope to return. ||||The hotel can arrange airport transfers, which I recommend. You will need to contact them in advance. They can also probably arrange or refer you to car and driver transport for sightseeing, which you will need. The hotel is centrally located to many attractions and good restaurants in Yangon, including the Karaweik Palace Barge and the National Museum, but you will need car transport. ||||The Karaweik Palace Barge has an all-you-can-eat, pan-Asian buffet and dance theater show in the evening that I recommend. The cost is very reasonable. They also serve lunch there. Besides the imposing and amazing gilded throne, the National Musem has an entire floor showcasing the costumes worn by the different ethnic groups in Myanmar. Both are well worth seeing.||||As I mentioned, you can walk from this hotel to the north entrance of the Shwedagon in about 15 minutes or less. Ask the front desk how to do this--don't try Google maps, which gets it wrong. Being this close is helpful if you wish to see the Shwedagon early in the morning or late in the evening, when it is less crowded. The Shwedagon is one of the most beautiful monuments in the world.||||The hotel is also within walking distance of the Savoy Hotel, one of three famous colonial hotels in Yangon. They have two colonial restaurants with interesting...

t is 10 minute walking distance to Shwedagon Pagoda or a 2000kyat taxi ride.
A 3000 Kyat taxi to downtown main railway, where you can walk into downtown or catch the circular train.
I am a street photographer, so i enjoyed walking and exploring. I found it totally safe and people are helpful, friendly and smiley.
If i was to go back to Yangon, i would stay at this hotel again. But i would only stay for 2-3 nights as i have finished exploring Yangon and for me now, I would only like to visit Shwedagon pagoda next time.
I am starting to post my photos to my flickr account. You can say hello there - search for slimnics.
Notes to H Valley Hotel. make sure the room i am renting is the same as in the photo. The main reason i wanted to stay at H valley is because of the bath. When we arrived the room had no bath. Thankfully, your staff changed our room.
the aircon. Please upgrade your aircon. It takes 2-3 hours for the room to get cool.

Looking for contemporary style and amenities in the center of historic Yangon? Look no further than the H Valley Hotel. This modern hotel boasts sleek rooms, first-rate service, and a prime location to experience all that Yangon offers.
From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was impressed by the chic, minimalist decor. Rooms follow the same aesthetic with floor-to-ceiling windows, plush white linens, and a muted gray and teal color scheme. Touches like rainfall showers, free Wi-Fi, and city views from my room made it an urban oasis. I loved starting mornings with the lavish breakfast buffet.
But what I appreciated most was the excellent service. The friendly staff went above and beyond, arranging tours, transportation, dining reservations, and airport transfers seamlessly. Their attention to detail embodies Asian hospitality.
For visitors who crave modern amenities without sacrificing an authentic cultural experience, H Valley is a perfect home base. This polished hotel lets you indulge in 21st-century comforts while exploring one of Asia’s most...
