I had a fantastic experience at Hotel Smart, located in the peaceful Dhumbarahi area – just a quick 20-minute ride from Tribhuvan International Airport. This hotel is perfectly situated, close to major landmarks like Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa, making it a great choice for both spiritual travelers and tourists exploring Kathmandu.

The rooms were spotless, modern, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile.

One of the highlights was the food – the in-house restaurant served fresh, tasty meals every day. The Thakali set was absolutely delicious and authentic, definitely a must-try if you're staying here!

Hotel Smart at Ringroad, Kathmandu is a new and well-structured property that offers multiple levels of services including a beer bar, Thakali restaurant, coffee shop, banquet hall, and hotel rooms. The overall setup is modern and convenient for events and gatherings.

The Thakali Khana is one of the better offerings here, flavorful and authentic. It’s a good place to host small parties or events, thanks to the spacious banquet and lively atmosphere.

However, the continental food, especially items like the avocado salad, could use improvement — the avocado was not fresh and lacked proper dressing. The restaurant’s menu has potential, but more consistency and attention to detail in food quality would help.
